Oct 28, 2017All told, Moon Hunters is a wonderful roguelike RPG that is quite unlike anything else available on the Switch, offering a bite-sized, engaging adventure that is extremely replayable and can be enjoyed both alone and with friends. Though there are some issues with the easy difficulty and the occasionally heinous load times, we still give this one a strong recommendation. Moon Hunters offers a lot with a relatively small amount of content, and you’ll likely find yourself revisiting this one for quite some time.

Nov 28, 2017Combat is passable, the music is great, it’s visually fine: chances are you’ve seen numerous retro-inspired roguelikes this before, albeit maybe not with this particular gimmick. What lets Moon Hunters down, though, is that while it’s perfectly entertaining to play in short bursts, its loading times can completely ruin the experience.

Jun 30, 2022This is a really cool co-op RPG, nice graphics, interesting design, and terrible loading times.
