    All told, Moon Hunters is a wonderful roguelike RPG that is quite unlike anything else available on the Switch, offering a bite-sized, engaging adventure that is extremely replayable and can be enjoyed both alone and with friends. Though there are some issues with the easy difficulty and the occasionally heinous load times, we still give this one a strong recommendation. Moon Hunters offers a lot with a relatively small amount of content, and you’ll likely find yourself revisiting this one for quite some time.

    Combat is passable, the music is great, it’s visually fine: chances are you’ve seen numerous retro-inspired roguelikes this before, albeit maybe not with this particular gimmick. What lets Moon Hunters down, though, is that while it’s perfectly entertaining to play in short bursts, its loading times can completely ruin the experience.

    The loading times are very long (yeah I know it takes time to generate the procedural world, but still, the loading time is PSOne long...), and the game stutter all the time while playing!! Stuttering on a visually poor 2D game on the switch, even on dock mode! That makes no sense, and makes the game really annoying to play sadly. I regret buying it.
    I wish someone told me those problem before buying, so I write this review to warn other people to not buy it. At least not on the switch.    … Full Review »

    This is a really cool co-op RPG, nice graphics, interesting design, and terrible loading times.

    Really good casual co-op game. You can play through a campaign in about an hour so perfect for when you want to play something light andReally good casual co-op game. You can play through a campaign in about an hour so perfect for when you want to play something light and quick. Also good because you don't have to get the same people together multiple times to finish it. There's a number of different classes and you can put together a different build of specializations every run. The story is 'different', you piece a narrative together over the course of several playthroughs and it's more about the different stories characters have than what actually happens. My only negative points would be that the loading times at the start of levels are a bit long and we experienced a bit of lag every now and then.… Full Review »
