What the various branching paths of the story lack in narrative coherence, they make up for with surprisingly competent fight scenes (very unusual in an FMV title) and heroically dedicated acting. Everyone involved is clearly trying their very best to convert the lacklustre plot and script into something that can be taken seriously, though the shlock-tier effects and poor use of the FMV format will no doubt overshadow the cast's efforts for the vast majority of players.

It's a real shame that Wales Interactive still haven't yet stumbled on a genuinely excellent story, complete with interestingly branching storyboard, to throw their relatively high production values and well-sourced acting talent at. FMV games have the potential to be so much more than they currently are. It's been over three decades since Night Trap, and yet of all the FMV games ever produced, that one still features the most dynamic and complex player interface.
