    Holds up looks great sounds better and cheep this is a great deal. Enjoy your time on talon 4. It has its flaws to bed sure but anything does if you look hard enough. Good games are so rare these days. Enjoy.

    I sold my Steam Deck to pay for this game and it was the best decision I ever made! I noticed most of the other people who owned one seemed to be: libertarian pirates who don't like/support the industry; people that only like graphics and don't really enjoy games; paedophiles; or all of the above. Thank you Nintendo and Metroid Prime for saving me and putting be back onto the right path ofI sold my Steam Deck to pay for this game and it was the best decision I ever made!     Fantastic game, first time playing it. Brings all the good stuff from 2002 into the modern era. OST is fantastic and the gameplay is simple. The world is fun to explore and while there is some backtracking it's like unwrapping a present.

Look no further than Metroid Prime Remastered, which is essentially a 20 years old game that was so iconic and ground breaking, that playing it now, you will still be in awe. Game mechanics, world building, graphics and music are still as top notch as ever. This was the game that made the Game Cube back in the day. NintendoDo you know why Nintendo is the best game developer in the world? Look no further than Metroid Prime Remastered, which is essentially a 20 years old game that was so iconic and ground breaking, that playing it now, you will still be in awe. Game mechanics, world building, graphics and music are still as top notch as ever. This was the game that made the Game Cube back in the day. Nintendo sure was trounced left and right back in the day, with the dominance of both Sony and Microsoft, but boy...they DO not make games like Metroid Prime. Shadow dropped by Nintendo after their Direct, I downloaded it immediately and quickly immerse myself yet again in this incredible game. Last of Us? Elden Ring? They may have the whiz bang graphics and other bells and whistles, but Prime still triumphs over them, 20 years on.… Expand

    This games brings back so many memories from 2002. Retro Studio really did an amazing job remaking the game with beautiful graphics & a few tweak to improve the accessibility. This is now hands down the best way to play Metroid Prime.

    There's a reason why this game was so popular upon release back in the Gamecube days. There's not a ton of things that were changed here, which speaks to how well the first go around went for it. There's a very nice graphics improvement and they added the dual stick control system, common in pretty much all modern FPS games.     An incredible game and an incredible remaster. For $40, I honestly expected this to be more along the lines of a visual touch-up, but this is as close to a remake as a remaster can get. Nearly everything has been redone from lighting, to textures, and even the majority of models.     Everything I want in a game... lots of pretty environments to explore, puzzles to solve, and light combat. The music and sound effects are great. Modern gamers might laugh at the enemy AI, but it's perfect for me, a button masher. I loved it on GameCube but never finished it... I will this time though. Thanks Nintendo!

    10/10, the original was/is one of favourite games of all time and this remaster/remake is shaping up to become the same, I've been into video games since I could hold a joystick (spectrum kid here!) And I've seen some classics come and go and this is definitely a classic, I'd have preferred to seen it remade with 4k resolution and textures on something like the Xbox Series X but what retro10/10, the original was/is one of favourite games of all time and this remaster/remake is shaping up to become the same, I've been into video games since I could hold a joystick (spectrum kid here!)     Gorgeous visuals. Smooth framerate. Highly polished. An already outstanding game made even better. This is a fine example of a remastered game done right!

    If ever a game deserved a 10, this is it. And with dual analog gyro aiming, HD rumble, 5.1 surround, flawless 60fps at sharp resolution and lush new visuals, I wish I could give even higher.

    When I got Metroid Prime Remastered I went back and also played Prime on my Wii and Gamecube and with this comparison I can say this is a damn fine remaster. The game runs at 60 fps just as the original did on GCN. Seems obvious , but these days there is remasters running at worse or lower FPS than the origional, see upcoming Tales of Symphonia as an example. They have done exactly whatWhen I got Metroid Prime Remastered I went back and also played Prime on my Wii and Gamecube and with this comparison I can say this is a damn fine remaster. Moving shooting exploring all feels like it dose on the Gamecube just as if Prime was made on a modern machine..They haven't gone through and gutted the game like in the crappy Dead Space remaster or pasted crappy textures over everything like the GTA remaster. This Metroid Prime Remaster has been crafted with absolute care to make this feel and play as great as the origional on the day it was released.… Expand

    Metroid Prime remaster is a perfect reminder why open world games aren’t the holy grail of gaming. It’s a concise game that feels great to explore. You get meaningful upgrades if you do and the game has a mix of tight corridors and tunnels as well as more open spaces to jump around in. The ever expanding mix of abilities at your disposal break any kind of routine that could settle in andMetroid Prime remaster is a perfect reminder why open world games aren’t the holy grail of gaming.     It is indeed Metroid Prime. probably the only game series to get metroidvanias rights in the 3D space. Metroidvanias are not for everyone, but if that is what you are looking for you will find it here! Play this game if you want to feel truly alone in a hostile environment, and slowly but surely become the master of that environment before leaving. The game lets you play with the new control scheme, a scheme similar to the Wii's, and the original GameCube control scheme.     Hard to believe they did so much to what is already a masterpiece on what amounted to a shadow drop. The modern controls and visuals are a thing of beauty. Once-in-a-generation game.

The most striking change is obviously the graphics: Everything looks very polished in HD. I tie in with the opinion you would think this might be a PS5 or XBOX Series X game if you didn't know it was for the Nintendo Switch.     I can't believe this is real! My favorite game of all time gets an amazing remaster that borders on remake. This is easily the best looking game on switch - truly beautiful and even more impressive at 60fps. Its nostalgic and new at the same time, major kudos for including every control scheme (each of which has its own pros and cons).     A perfect game that doesn't look more than 20 years old. Honestly this is one of the most incredible experiences for first person games and also for games of the Metroidvania genre. A masterpiece of video games. Let Echoes come.

    One of the best game ever made, just as we remember about it, but in 2023.
    I'm still crying at the music menu.
    Nintendo and Retrostudio haven't just nailed it. They made a potential contender for the 2023 GOTY with a 2002 game.

    I own the original prime, gamecube, wii, wiiu digital versions. This stealth dropped and purchased instantly. Quite simply put, this is the best remaster I have ever played. It's 60fps on switch, and one of the best games of all time is now possibly the best switch game since botw. Absolutely incredible work of art and instant masterpiece.

One of the few games (aside from MGS, OoT, and RE4) that I can say is flawless. Metroid Prime is THE reason I play(ed) video games and it is a testament to the sheer beauty and power of video games in general.     A phenomenal masterpiece. Better than the original in every way, Metroid Prime Remastered is a beautifully constructed exploration/action game with an immense lore hidden in every room. This is the gold standard of video games.

    Game makers: take note. Metroid Prime Remastered is a masterclass in how to modernize a masterpiece. Twenty years after the series made the transition to 3D, this remains a classic that has stood the test of time. The updated visuals prove that with some optimization and visual tricks, the Switch is really capable of delivering great games. In fact, this is one of prettier – if not the prettiest –Switch games to date.

    A classic returns in Metroid Prime Remastered. A complete visual overhaul makes the world of the game look better and more detailed than ever before. A new dual-stick control scheme makes the game approachable and palatable for new players, while veterans can opt for controls that mimic the original. Underneath it all, though, the masterpiece that is Metroid Prime Remains unchanged. Some more quality of life improvements could perhaps have been made, but it is a tiny complaint for a near-perfect remaster.
