    After Bobby has freed all pirates from the clutches of the ruthless Davy Jones, the pirates are finally enjoying a free life. They feel at home on their happy island, however without the joyful, carefree laughter of children, Pirate Island is awful quiet. Then, suddenly the clever Bobby has a brilliant idea. The pirate captain suggests building a theme park in the pirate world. This will be a 100% guaranty that laughter and joy will be all over the island. Help the pirates in this cheerful Match 3 Game to build an amazing amusement park to change the island into a world full of adventure and fun!

    Form groups of three or more crabs, canons, steering wheels, explosives and other pirate items to unlock powerful boosters and complete all level goals. Earn coins which can be used for building the theme park. Start with the entrance and add a ticket booth and great rides. Construct paths and provide places where tired visitors can rest. Everything has been thought of! Reveal while playing the personal story of each pirate, destroy obstacles, fight plagues, avoid skulls and get your hands on all the treasures.     Match Three Pirates II is a solid puzzle game with various difficulty settings. However, there’s nothing else to the game, so you might have short gameplay sessions.

    Match Three Pirates 2 is a nice game for in between. The game has good mechanics, and plays really easy. In this sequel you will once againMatch Three Pirates 2 is a nice game for in between. The game has good mechanics, and plays really easy. In this sequel you will once again play a ridiculous hard game, but the power ups will help you to get enough coins. I no longer do well under timed pressure, ergo my M3’s are always played in Casual Mode. The cool thing about this game is that you aren’t penalized for playing in Casual Mode. You get all the stars, power ups and coins to build the Pirate Park.… Expand

    Out of the gate I’ll say that I have always been, and continue to be, a big fan of Match-3 puzzles, especially when on the go. They’re easy to pick up and put down quickly, they’re mentally engaging, and well-designed ones will actively challenge your strategy and planning abilities the further you go along. In principle, since there haven’t been too many I’ve encountered on Switch, this could have been a pretty easy sell for me. Unfortunately, my familiarity with the abundant mobile competition out there (most of them playable for free on your mobile device to boot) really sunk my opinion of this one quickly. The biggest issue is that neither the puzzles or the visuals stack up well against the mobile competition, and in many regards this looks and plays more like a game produced a good decade ago. The theming, and a bit of a story with you working with pirates to construct an amusement park, could possibly have helped to buoy the experience a bit but unfortunately there was little effort put in to make this worthwhile as well. The resulting overall experience is unfortunately underwhelming.
