    Mario Party Superstars is a great collection of some of the best boards and minigames in the series. If you want an enjoyable party game, this is a game that deserves your attention [Recommended].

    When it comes to capturing the core Mario Party formula established over two decades ago, Superstars is as pure a distillation as you'll find. Taking the best bits from a large collection of uneven games has resulted in a pretty satisfying collection.

    Mario Party Superstars is great because it’s both exciting and malleable, filling a variety of different roles depending on who is playing. For a parent, it’s an easy-to-understand game that’s fun to break out every few weeks. For younger generations, it’s an enjoyable glimpse into video game history, and a not-incredibly-boring way to connect with your grumpy, old uncle. And for those of us who’ve been partying since 1998, it’s a lovingly crafted blast of nostalgia. But in the end, despite its value for video game preservation and appreciation, Mario Party Superstars is more than that. It’s a collection of Mario Party’s best work, perfect for veteran partiers, newcomers, and everyone in-between.

The controlls of some of the minigames is terrible, the "Lucky Fields" are far too much and Bowser seems lot to weak for my opinion. Most of the times he only stoles 10 coins, but you get on every lucky field between 7 and 25 coins, so the costs of the star are most of the time indifferent.
    Another bad title in Mario Party history, I hope Nintendo will cut NDCube from this franchise soon    … Full Review »

No more motion controls (which makes this way more skill based), the boards require actual strategy, the dice has been returned to normal (all characters get a 1-10), oh and the graphics are gorgeous. Everything has a true HD shine to it, character models along with level textures are high quality and the game has a certain polish. Even the most lame mini games are enjoyable due to how well the controls have been implemented. Speaking of mini games, I think the selection is truly worth the title, "Superstars". Do yourself a favor and pick this one up, you will see what I mean once you play it. : )… Full Review »

    Great return to form for the series. Online is very well integrated into the game and is a lot of fun with friends or strangers from around the world.
