It's really neat to walk around Lego worlds and see all the neat stuff the designers hide around each planet. It's fun running around and seeing the sights. It also took me time to realize how to generate a planet of a different type than the previous planet.

Fun for the small price, but I haven't played it much since the most recent patches, and haven't progressed to larger planets.

    Pros
    • No long story, long cut scenes or walls of text

    • Really is Lego: runaround, build and destroy

    • Keeps being updated with UI improvements and upgrades

    Cons
    • Updates keep changing frame rates and draw distance

    • Randomly generated content is occasionally hard to complete

Glitchy as heck with a Lego theme. Fun with the kid but not much else to do except battle each other. Building can get tedious and boring fast - good thing it has all kinds of premade stuff to put down.

A Minecraft-esque game that had potential but fell just short of greatness.

The story sucks, and is composed purely of tedious quests, many of which dole out either obscenely difficult challenges or miserly rewards. Sandbox Mode is fun, but there's not enough unique content and it gets boring after a while. Each world only has 3 unique characters, and most things are given a theme

If you want this game, wait to get it on sale. Don't pay full price for it.

Lego Worlds is you run-of-the-mill Licensed game by Tt games but this one dose something a little new. So Lego worlds is like Minecraft and Mario Odyssey (If you play adventure mode). The adventure mode is like Mario Odyssey with Minecraft You collect Gold bricks ya da ya da ya da. Sandbox mode is just Minecraft but you build with a tool. yep that's all I guess you can get the DLCes for $4

Игра неплоха, но далеко не самая лучшая в серии игр лего. Слишком много муторного собирательства.

It's just you, a virtual catalog of different generically themed LEGOs, billions of bricks and your imagination to use as you wish, whether it be build or explore. [Issue #30 – November/December 2017, p. 63]

LEGO Worlds is so close to being a fantastic idea that all the little hang-ups feel way more annoying than they should. The creation mode is fantastic, but extremely touchy controls-wise; and it's gated off by necessitating the player to complete the same missions dozens of times each if they want its best tools. The idea of a digital LEGO sandbox is the stuff that dreams are made of and, honestly, it just hasn't been done justice this time around.

LEGO Worlds on Switch is a missed opportunity for Nintendo, Traveller's Tales and... the players.
