This game is boring, that's it. Technically it's okay, but it's boring, not interesting, the gameplay is just "nah, can be", and it has nothing to do with arcade racing or driving. It's just some awkward being that doesn't know what it wants to be. I love racing games and this one is just boring. It's a pity that you can't get a refund on the eShop, this one's worth it.

The physics is the same for all cars, it causes no desire to collect more cars. There is no upgrades etc. The physics is too easy, like a game for kids, nothing even near to Forza or other good arcade racing titles. If it was at least like in the Hot Wheels on the Switch, I'd like it more. (Here you just hold throttle and win every race with ease, unless some awful rubberbanding happens, because you hit the wall 3 seconds before the finish).

It's a racing games without racing. There's more awkward and repetitive missions that aren't engaging whatsoever.

I play every arcade title, I love them all. All The Crews, NFSs, Forzas, Test Drives, Hot Wheels, you get the drill. This one is not even close. I expected something like Forza Horizon Lego Expansion X Lego City, but I got a bowl of poop instead. You can eat it after all, but it's not fun.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game is sorta fun, but on the switch version, bugs absolutely destroy this game. You can’t buy anything in Unkie’s Emporium, and online access is completely nonexistent. It always says something like “Something went wrong!” Each time you try to play. The story mode is great, though. But, most of the time when you want to make a new vechile, it becomes sorta awkward as you navigate through each menu. And, since you can’t get all the parts since some of them are in Unkie’s, you can’t build the kart you want most of the time. Cool and fun arcade racer, but whatever you do, don’t get it on switch. It’s just broken. Expand

A lot of things to do, in LEGO style.

Lego 2K Drive is fine for a semi-open-world racing game. It's a game with a fair few faults, so it all really comes down to how much you want a racer like this on your Switch. The other version will look and run better, but if you want a Lego-themed racer on the Switch, this will do.

Lego 2K Drive is one of the finest arcade racers around, setting itself apart from the competition by literally building a new foundation for the genre. Like the very best LEGO sets, each of its pieces adds up to a wonderful product. Racing fans owe it to themselves to check this one out.
