    Suddenly, during the quarantine this game that I bought 3 years ago became my #1 played game of the month :)

    The content - 8/10: * The song selection is great (they have Jamiroquai!). Thought the choreography itself varies from meh to just good. For comparison, Just Dance 2020 have much funnier & enjoyable moves and combos (though less catchy songs). * I did actually enjoy Dance Lab.
    Suddenly, during the quarantine this game that I bought 3 years ago became my #1 played game of the month :)

    * The song selection is great (they have Jamiroquai!). Thought the choreography itself varies from meh to just good. For comparison, Just Dance 2020 have much funnier & enjoyable moves and combos (though less catchy songs).
    * I did actually enjoy Dance Lab. It's underdeveloped. But still a great gym.
    * The collectables are meh (repetitive avatars and stickers I didn't ask for).

    The interface - 6/10:
    * Main problem of the game. It's not user-friendly whatsoever: gift machine is slow af, no video previews for songs, browsing library is painful, connection to Just Dance unlimited fails after Switch goes to sleep mode). This is especially frustrating compared to JD2020 where they fixed almost all of this.
    * Joy-Con movement tracking accuracy is mostly ok. Not great, though.

    Just Dance Unlimited - 8/10:
    * In a sense, that's main value-prop of the game. And it's great. Many-many-many great songs. There are problems, though.
    * Again, it gets disconnected for no reason after Switch wakes up.
    * The movement tracking accuracy sucks for older songs (for JD games with numbers in the title and not years)
    * W/o pre-defined playlists the search is a pain.

    Releasing this boring and repetitive game on the Switch doesn't change anything.

    Just Dance 2018 keeps its predecessors' gameplay mechanics, which work wonders at parties and other gatherings and the track list is varied enough to provide some entertainment during several gaming sessions. This does not mean, however, that it does not need some innovation, preferably in the form of new game modes.

    Just Dance 2018 it’s a software with a precise purpose and an even more precise audience. If you’re looking for an excuse to dance you’re in the right place, but everyone else won’t find anything interesting here.

    Except for the new kids mode this is Just Dance as it always was - you either love it or loathe it. It might not be as accurate as the Dance Centrals of this world but it delivers fun.
