Nov 30, 2017Just Dance 2018 keeps its predecessors' gameplay mechanics, which work wonders at parties and other gatherings and the track list is varied enough to provide some entertainment during several gaming sessions. This does not mean, however, that it does not need some innovation, preferably in the form of new game modes.

Nov 23, 2017Just Dance 2018 it’s a software with a precise purpose and an even more precise audience. If you’re looking for an excuse to dance you’re in the right place, but everyone else won’t find anything interesting here.

Nov 1, 2017In a strange twist for a series that you would expect to be built around drawing in new consumers, Just Dance 2018 feels like a perfect match for those who already love the games and are really serious about their dancing, yet does nothing to draw in newcomers. In some ways, this year’s edition feels like it is almost a ‘greatest hits’ for its hardcore fans – the one entry that you’ll always fall back to just to play through the best stuff. Yet with such a hefty cost needed to access all of the game’s content, only the most serious will get true enjoyment here.

Oct 23, 2017Just Dance 2018 is an update to the popular Ubisoft franchise with more songs as its main attraction. The gameplay has not changed much and although we appreciate add-ons such as Kid and Double Rumble modes, you will not find new mechanics that transform the gameplay we all know.

Nov 9, 2017Just Dance 2018 is an unremarkable addition to a tired series with little to entice returning players back into the fold. It's a shame such a large portion of the game is hidden behind a pay wall, but newcomers will nevertheless find plenty here to be getting on with for a while, particularly if you play in a party environment with friends and family.

Nov 10, 2017Except for the new kids mode this is Just Dance as it always was - you either love it or loathe it. It might not be as accurate as the Dance Centrals of this world but it delivers fun.

Nov 3, 2017Just Dance 2018 was a fun game, but not one that left me breathless. The addition of Kids Mode was smart and will appeal to an even broader audience. But this franchise needs some competition in order for them to amp up the content of the game because frankly, it’s just not worth $59.99.

Oct 26, 2017It’s hard to fathom what Ubisoft plans for this series going forward, but they should figure it out sooner rather than later, because continuing to release the core game for the Wii and ignoring the potential of the streaming service seems like a sign of regression. As for the core game itself, there’s an innovative new mode on the Nintendo Switch version, the interface is easier to navigate and the song list is decent enough, if typically underwhelming. There’s hints of Ubisoft doing the right thing, like throwing in a song or two from an unknown artist and trying out new modes, but they never see it all the way through. Frankly, it’s time for a reboot if Unlimited isn’t the future of Just Dance.

Oct 14, 2018I paid for 3 months of Just Dance Unlimited, but it never activated. Ubisoft ignored my tickets.
