    Jump King is a game that deliberately wants you to hate its guts. However, the players who are really good at it have made it an art form. This is one that really separates the men from the boys and the women from the girls.

    There’s a lot to be said for keeping it simple, and this game is a testament to that. Jump King only tries to do one thing, but it does it so incredibly well without compromising the challenge.

    Here we have a cool indie game that likes to play on your nerves. I enjoy the beautiful pixel art style, the music that can perfectly describe the area you're in, and the design overall of this game. But then the gameplay kicks in and oh boy it's brutal. It's really punishing to mistakes, and it's hard not to make one. What you have here is your not typical platformer game, where you need to go all the way to the top. All you'll be using here is your d-pad (or joystick) and a jump button. Your jump will differ from how long you'll press on the jump button. And what's hard about this, that there's no meter for you to perfectly calculate your jump. And you will be falling down again and again. Sometimes it will be down a few frames, sometimes all the way to the bottom, so all your progress goes to waste. You'll hate this game, a lot, so much that you would like to play more of it. I, personally, love it that it is so hard and that's what I think make it so special.… Full Review »

    I really was looking forward to this game when I first saw it, but after playing it for all of 10 minutes, I uninstalled, it's impossible toI really was looking forward to this game when I first saw it, but after playing it for all of 10 minutes, I uninstalled, it's impossible to see what's above you with jumping up first, so as a consequence, you spend most of your time falling back to the start, if they made the game have a scroll system, it would have been much better, the game looks and sound great, but the flip screen mechanic ruins the game, shame.… Full Review »
