Dope little game. Can't wait for my actual cartridge!
Plays just like a NES game, but some awesome modern touches.

Classic NES beat-em-up action filled with View Askew references both obvious and obscure. A must have for fans of Double Dragon and Kevin Smith alike.

And THEN you beat the game and unlock hard mode. And THEN you crawl into a fetal position and contemplate what your life has become. Still worth it.

Very good beat'em up for Jay and SilentBob fans. Very cool game with some inovations and oldschool game mechanics.

J&SBMB is a tribute to 80's NES games and the ViewAskew cinematic universe. There are lots of references to both classic NES games and the Kevin Smith movies, but I think the game may be too retro for it's own good. I don't think it's worth it at $15, as there's only nine chapters (most of which are repetitive) and and you can beat the game casually in under an hour and a half. if you'reJ&SBMB is a tribute to 80's NES games and the ViewAskew cinematic universe. But if you're looking for a retro beat-em-up, wait until it's on sale for less than $10.

It may not be perfect, but if you're a fan of the source material, it's well worth the price of admission. [Issue #47 – July/August 2020, p. 23]

A really nice stop gap title until Chronic Blunt Punch arrives and decent use of an old system. A few fiddly controls, but nothing that can't be forgiven.

Old-school beat 'em ups don't get much more authentic or enjoyable than Jay and Silent Bob: Mall Brawl. Snootch to the nootch!
