    I bought this as I enjoy rhythm games, not necessarily as a HM fan, and as such, I was pretty disappointed with the game. Game play is, well, it's _fine_, but the sound that is thrown in as the rhythm beat sound is just a tambourine clash, which doesn't add much to the song, and sounds very out of place, detracting from the song. The number of songs that have a plethora of text over theI bought this as I enjoy rhythm games, not necessarily as a HM fan, and as such, I was pretty disappointed with the game. The number of songs that have a plethora of text over the screen makes seeing the prompts harder, and visually it is just kind of an all around mess.

    I played a HM game way back on my PSP, and enjoyed it, but playing this one on the switch kind of feels like it is cashing in only on the Hatsune Miku brand and nothing else. Very disappointing game, exacerbated by Nintendos lack luster return policy.    … Expand

    So this game would be higher if the models didn’t conflict with the music videos... they kinda stand out and are too shiny. Not only that but there is not as much music as one could hope for compared to the PS4 game Future Tone.

    Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix excels at everything it sets out to accomplish. With flashy visuals, challenging gameplay, and a staggering amount of additional content, Switch players can truly enjoy this rhythmic masterclass at home or on the go.

    Mega Mix will likely be a fun entry for those newer to the series, but for veterans, it really doesn’t have much to offer. Stick to Future Tone instead.

    Compared to other versions, Mega Mix is lacking in content, however, the portability makes it an attractive proposition even to those that have access to the other versions. When compared to other rhythm games on the Switch, Mega Mix has an enormous setlist and an amazing gameplay, making this one of the best rhythm games on the console.
