    It delivers exactly what it promises... And that's it. We would expect more game modes and variety in a "mega mix edition". Anyway, if you just want to see Miku dancing in every possible fashion, you'll be satisfied.

    Mega Mix will likely be a fun entry for those newer to the series, but for veterans, it really doesn’t have much to offer. Stick to Future Tone instead.

    I'd definitely recommend Hatsune Miku: Project Diva MegaMix to newcomers and would recommend it to fans looking for a new portable experience. But if you've got access to a PlayStation 4 and don't care about portability, you're still better off picking up Future Tone.

    A great rhythm game doesn't necessarily mean a great Hatsune Miku game. Yes, the songs are brilliant and varied, and the gameplay is unbeatable in the genre. A hundred songs sounds amazing on paper, too, but it's just a fraction of the game Mega Mix is ported from, and the conversion hasn't fared too well when looking at handheld visual quality. The number of tracks cut out and sold back as DLC is unforgivable, too - just because it is the norm doesn't mean it shouldn't be called out. Future Tone players can pass on this, but this still comes highly recommended to Switch owners and anyone desperate for portable Miku. Just be sure to wait and buy at a discount.

    Project Diva Mega Mix is a welcome return to Nintendo's portable platform for the rhythm game series. While it doesn't scale well to portable and its Joy-Con motion control mode is a dud, the main mode remains as brutally satisfying as ever. Whether a diehard Miku fan or just a rhythm game enthusiast, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega Mix is yet another great entry in the series.

    I bought this as I enjoy rhythm games, not necessarily as a HM fan, and as such, I was pretty disappointed with the game. Game play is, well,I bought this as I enjoy rhythm games, not necessarily as a HM fan, and as such, I was pretty disappointed with the game. Game play is, well, it's _fine_, but the sound that is thrown in as the rhythm beat sound is just a tambourine clash, which doesn't add much to the song, and sounds very out of place, detracting from the song. The number of songs that have a plethora of text over the screen makes seeing the prompts harder, and visually it is just kind of an all around mess.

    I played a HM game way back on my PSP, and enjoyed it, but playing this one on the switch kind of feels like it is cashing in only on the Hatsune Miku brand and nothing else. Very disappointing game, exacerbated by Nintendos lack luster return policy.    … Full Review »
