Oct 6, 2019The game is not the most polished, especially lighting and UI wise, but it tells a fun story and is a cool take on the turn-based combat genre. For the price it's well worth a spin.

Jan 27, 2020It's got a ton of style and does some I retesting stuff with character load outs based on cards, tells an alright story. The difficulty is kinda all over the place and it spikes incredibly hard. Most of the time you can play pretty sloppily and then you get to levels that stack enemies onto you. For 20 bucks it's alright but I'd still pick it up on sale like I did

Dec 8, 2020I bought it to get my XCOM fix before it came to switch. The game play itself is okay but there is too much story between battles. Add to that, the font choice which is horrible for small screens, makes reading anything almost impossible. As a result, getting into the story more work than it's worth.

Mar 7, 2019While its combat design isn't perfect and the enemy AI could be better, Hard West’s supernatural-tinged Wild West shtick offers a great way to get into the XCOM formula without relying on too many random factors. And with the Scars of Freedom expansion pack included as standard, there are plenty of ways to exercise your itchy trigger finger on the go.
