    Just terrible! Rockstar have tainted their brand for good. The only way for this to be restored is if they humbled themselves and rebuilt this game from the ground up. Not even GTA 6 will fix this mess, yuck!

    A shockingly bad port of three great games from the PlayStation 2 era. While the games ARE playable, the games run at such a low resolution that it often makes things hard to see. Honestly, porting the original games would have looked far better than this mess.

    The only thing worse the the GTA remakes are the GTA remakes on the Nintendo Switch! What I had hoped would be a fun game to have on the go turned into being the worst purchase I’ve ever made with my Nintendo switch. There’s more than a few Indie games with a fraction of the budget and manpower that run circles around this lazy effort and atrocious “final product” rockstar/grove streetThe only thing worse the the GTA remakes are the GTA remakes on the Nintendo Switch!     Charging for minor upgrades from a game already milked to high heaven.

    Other company's offer visual upgrades for the next gen consoles for free.

    And also, they are now introducing a subscription service for the game as well!

    Here we are after the physical release and the game is still a stuttering mess without a word of further updates from Rockstar.

    The announcement of GTA 6 doesn’t change that this horrible trash is still unplayable.

Don't support woke/PC and puritan products and companies, especially if those products were originally conceived in a different way and with a different target, certainly non NPC SJWs and neo-puritans!     Do not buy this game, I repeat: Do NOT buy this game. It is a shame to see that greed for money in its purest form led to such a shameful product, staining the formerly good reputation of Rockstar. One of the most hideous and absurd aspects about all this is that this product is called "The Definitive Edition". It should be taken off all stores immediately.

    The game formula still works and is entertaining, but there are a number of bugs and game crashes that show how little effort was put into producing this games; issues that must be addressed so the game can be played as well as the original versions.

    The Switch version of the game, has more awful downgraded graphics, and looks blurry, unlike my own PC version, i can blur a graphics a little bit and make custom config file to optimizing it and use Reshade graphics to sharpening graphics better than this Switch port.

    Most of the issues is also can be seen from the PC port i reviewed before aswell.

    Literally have no words to explain about this game. Rockstar showed how **** remaster can kill the company's reputation. All games of the trilogy are, honestly, terrible. Don't waste your time and money on this

    This game is an absolute joke on the nintendo switch. There is no way a 20 year old game should struggle to get 30pfs. As soon as you get in any vehicle the frame rate goes below 20. On top of that the game doesnt even run at 720p. This game is a complete buggy unpolished mess, there is no excuse for it running like this.     The gta trilogy was a huge disappointment to me, low fps on switch and bad pop-ins. This game is the thing i was looking forward to the most but it managed to ruin my love for the series.
    The characters look like plastic, the game struggles and almost never reaches a constant 30fps, the so called "improvements" are terrible and ruin the feel the games and bring with them countless bugs    The gta trilogy was a huge disappointment to me, low fps on switch and bad pop-ins.     This remaster is a joke and just a cash grab. Doing the bare minimum and stíl made a 20 year old game worse on modern consolse. The fact they hid the gameplay before launch and took down the old versions to charge full price was two fingers to consumers

    Horrible. Unacceptable for even an indie studio This is worse then Cyberpunk, there are so many bugs and glitches on a 20 year old game. How is this even possible? Grove street games is terrible should have never been allowed to make this. The pop in in the switch version is god-awful. Makes it harder to drive as cars just pop back in.

    GTA The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition is a collection of 3 great titles that left their mark in history. However, the so-called Definitive Edition came out without the deserved treatment.

    These are all great games, some of the most influential AAA sandbox games of all time. I cannot in good conscience recommend you play this version, especially if you wanted to check out the Nintendo Switch version. It’s quite ironic that unnecessary and ugly visual overhauls make these ports of PS2 games almost unplayable on this system. I hate to be cynical, but I don’t think you could salvage these things without redesigning everything from the ground up. Grand Theft Auto deserved better, and you deserve better than to waste your money on this.

    In its current state, the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is only worth getting if you can get it at a large discount and assuming you’re willing to put up with many technical issues on Switch. While a lot of the major bugs I ran into have been addressed in patches, this is still nowhere near as good as it should be given how important these three games are to gaming in general. It also doesn’t help that the Switch patches are delayed compared to other platforms.
