I just want to first say that I haven't been able to finish playing the game because there is currently a bug that kicks you to the title screen when you try to start the mission "the dune sea."

This game is massively buggy throughout. The following are just some of the bugs that I encountered during my gameplay there are many more than listed below:
-skipping cutscenes before some missions makes the camera get stuck out of bounds which make the game essentially freeze since you can't use the cursor.
-card unlocking menu freezes when purchasing cards and won't allow you to back out but it will let you spend all of your money purchasing cards that you already have.
-some scenes have typos, incorrect vocabulary and grammar, and some characters repeat their dialogue twice in a row.
-unable to select places on the world map when cursor is over them.
-cards not reflecting accurate values of attacks/heals
-taunt not working and allowing taunted foes to still target other units.
-sometimes pressing r to select the next character that hasn't moved yet does work and you have to manually select that character.
-Using attacks that push/pull enemies sometimes got the enemies stuck in a place that I could not target and I had to use aoe attacks to kill them or reset if I couldn't target their area at all.

Other issues I had with the design of the game include:
-all attacks having the same sound whether they be weapon, magic, gun or bow.
-reused assets all over the place from the card arts to the side missions to the enemies making the game get extremely repetitive and stale early on.
    -menus are broken in general
-frame rate drops on maps with animated backgrounds which made the game hard to play.
-having to hit end turn even after all actions selected, ie no smart end turn future wastes a lot of time.
-no options menu whatsoever to change sound, or anything else
-battle xp bar doesn't indicate level ups or when characters gain a new passive slot.

The story of the game is kind of all over the place so far but It's not horrible and I have been pretty well interested in finishing things since I started this game. Some of the missions force you to use a limited pool of units and if you haven't been leveling certain characters that are forced you are going to have a bad time but I have always seemed to be able to change my tactics to manage these situations.

The music is fine, but the loop seems to restart when your units make a kill in battle. Some scenes have absolutely no music. The voice acting is pretty good when it happens.

The card selection is limited. It would be nice if at certain points in the story there were new cards introduced that strengthened your characters or if they got new passive skills to help them power up after certain scenes. It would be nice to be able to name the decks you create, but right now when you make a new deck they just get the titles "custom1", "custom2" and so forth and the default deck is called default.

All of the characters are usable and offer a different style of gameplay. I found myself tending to use about half of the characters and effectively benching the rest unless they were forced by story events. Also I want to mention that some of the parts of the story like when the airship is broken down kind of lost immersion for me when the game still allowed you to fly the airship around to complete side missions. There is also a part that didn't make sense because your team is reunited but the game still forces you to use the rescue team instead of the units that were rescued for the next mission.

Overall, this game has a lot of potential. Despite this game being a buggy and seemingly unfinished, untested mess I still had a lot of fun with the combat. I loved that I could knock enemies off of bridges and kill them instead of whittling them down. I loved how the enemies ragdolled when you kill them.
Experimenting with different characters/decks can be really interesting and I enjoyed building some OP teams.
The art is really great from the backgrounds, to the character portraits and even the cards although some of the reused art on the card made no sense (one character has two cards that look exactly the same but one of them is an attack and the other is a heal. Some characters have card art that has another characters portrait on it.)
If I had a suggestion for what this game lacks it is the polish of a AAA game. This game is so rough around the edges that it hurts. It feels like the game needs a lot of extra work and the alarming frequency and amount of bugs make it literally unplayable. If this game gets patched and the bugs are fixed I feel like this game would be on par with something like god wars or even steam world quest but as it is now it is not worth a buy or a play at $20 on the eshop.

While the turn based, card choosing combat mechanism is excellent, the game is filled with bugs. The game stops at the dune sea quest

The sidequests are extremely repititive. The units need to be given new cards or powers after some time in the story as the deck is very limited

This game had so much potential and could have been a great addition to the turned based card battler genre. Instead it falls flat on ridiculously bad characters and poor writing. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game is fun. It really is, although their is a lot of bugs, nothing game breaking but one I noticed happens a lot is after purchasing a new card the "click a or b" menu stays up even tho u can still move the cursor and even exited out of the menu, only way to fix is restart game, which is nice because the game saves basically wherever u decide to close game.
Dialogue is a little bland bit it does actually have some lines that have made me laugh . Visually it's nothing stunning but it's still some what aesthetic and still nice. If you're looking just for a fun almost 'minimal' card builder/ turn based then this is a good game for you. As we it's a indie developer so always nice to support

You can die in the tutorial, the first opening scene is a suggestion that the female lead would be raped, and the game is severely unbalanced and buggy. I had some nostalgia hopes for this game with it's 90s appeal, too bad it plays like a 90s game. It's super easy to skip your turn, the sound effects are so lackluster, the bugs make the game unplayable. Don't waste your money.

I just made a account to tell you how bad the game is. Don't think i need to say more but i will anyways. That gameplay i slow with glitchy combat. It tries so hard to be fire emblem but with a card element, which should be a cool concept but they really droped the ball on this one. i'm not the best at reviews just hade too say that the game sucks so maybe some will keep thier moneyI just made a account to tell you how bad the game is. I had low hopes for this title, but suddenly I got this on a sale for 2$ and decided I wanted to give this game a chance, and for someone who played a lot of turn based tactics I think I could say that this game is not that bad, as a matter of fact, I was surprised as to how much hours it has kept me playing.

For an independent developer, the 3d graphics is not the best but its decent

For an independent developer, the 3d graphics is not the best but its decent enough (I love that rag doll death animation its like in Xcom2), there are some framerate drops but only on few battles. Art style is good, the character portraits are well done. Music is decent though some areas in the game lacks sound direction as some cutscenes become silent, voice acting is good but could use a little more, even though I was fine with the short vocal reactions as I think it still matches the context of the dialogues somehow. The story can be dull at first but you will be able to find it riveting in the long run, its quite an adventure.

The turn based battle is where this game truly shines, I enjoy the battles I forgot that you can only have three units, I much preferred larger amounts units in a battle but for some reason I am finding some comfort with just limited such as just three units in this game. The use of card deck system is not something I see often in turn based tactics games I played before, even though the battleground maps can be repetitive to my dismay but the battle system provides that dynamic strategy since each turn your units will have different set of actions to perform that means you have to adapt to what is available to you, and i love that all the playable characters deck sets can be very unique to each other and can fill tactical roles like you want them to.

As you progress through the story, more cards and passive skills can be unlocked. There are lots of different cards and passive for each characters and some of them can be exclusive.

Despite my somewhat positive opinions to the game, there are some areas where the game is weak.

There were many bugs in the game that are easy to workaround but really annoying (thus the rating deduction)
    1. Card Deck Builder - when you purchase a new card, the popup dialog won't disappear. (had to reset game)
    2. In Battle - Walls and obstacles also hinder tile selection (its the most annoying).
    3. In some main quest dialogues/cutscenes - some music and sound effects are missing.
    4. Applying Taunt to enemies sometimes do not work, they had the status but they may still attack your other units.
    5. In some battle maps, push or pull spells can cause enemy units to become stuck and unselectable to be hit attack, you had to resort to area attacks (It was fun to use though on some maps like that one with a bridge)
    6. UI and menu can be a pain, its hard to end a units turn, it doesn't feel standard, "x" is what ends a turn, and I can accidentally hit it which ruins the battle for me. So you had to adapt to its controls and be used to it.

Overall, this game does have annoying quirks, but if you got passed that, this game can belong to a memorable turn based strategy rpg category. The illustrations and character designs are good and that battle system can be really fun. I hope the developers will still patch the game with bugfixes, I even hope for a sequel if possible, I would willingly pay full price.

With all its bugs and some inadequacy, this game still managed to pull me in for hours with its surprisingly addicting combat system that combined turn based and card deck mechanics which turned out very well, at least for me.

Some bugs may already have been fixed, like the Deck Build save issue and the Dune See main quest, since I have already got past it. Other bugs still remain but

Shallow and boring. Janky controls, subpar story and annoying one-word partial dubbing.

Cheap looking, story and dialogue is cheesy (even grammar is wrong) most times, and mechanics are unnecessarily convoluted for an RPG with nothing to it.
