    Gods Will Fall is an interesting take on both the rogue and hard-game genre. Its reliance on randomisation of character stats, weapons and dungeon difficulty makes it perfect for short or long plays and helps to keep the player hooked with moments ranging from abject difficulty to hilarious ease.

    Gods Will Fall is steeped in good ideas, but would have gained a lot by taking them further. Equipped with an effective artistic direction, unique bosses and dungeons, and a link mechanic that works, the game manages to make us want to play and replay in order to meet the proposed challenge, and manage to defeat the ten deities present. The proposed experience is therefore pleasant, and the studio really holds something. Sadly, Gods Will Fall constantly seems on restraint, leaving a lingering impression of superficiality and repetitiveness.

    Gods Will Fall tries to reinterpret the roguelike genre and some ideas show that the theoretical potential to do so is there, but the problem is that the technical structure ruins any good intuition (such as faulty AI). On the Switch, the rough controls also increase frustration.

You can play in the cave for an hour, get to the boss, almost kill him, but due to bad brake control, fall off the mountain, and you will lose the strongest hero, because of which there is no chance to play further, and you will need to go through the cave from the very beginning, as if you were nobody killed Some locations simply close the player, and you don't see - what you died from. Players randomly improve or degrade their stats. And it does not depend on you. After a few bosses, your entire team will be crippled. And the difficulty of the caves changes randomly in each game. Very often, at once, half of your team dies without a chance, only because the caves you entered are too difficult for the initial heroes.
