    Go Vacation is a fantastic game for children (core audience I will say is about 5-13), which via the simple controls can play together with up to three friends and having all kinds of silly fun together, with no pressure and a fun world to explore via a variety of vehicles and transportation. The simple controls means that the need no or little supervision. While many adults and most hard-core gamers will probably find this game too easy and a bit simplistic, the score of 61 is probably quite correct. But if reviewed for it core audience - children - this should be 90 at least. Buy if you have children or just want to relax.… Expand

    Man, I'm so glad this came back. Go Vacation on the Wii was a masterpiece. Graphics were great and controls were easy to use. Go Vacation on the Switch was an ultimate masterpiece. Graphics were amazing, but few control methods are not easy to use. Other than that, challenges are easier and its one of my favorite games.

    Although the graphics are a little dated now, this game still offers a lot of value for kids.
    My child loves playing this game, and since they get bored of some games quickly, it’s awesome that there are 50 different mini games included, as well as many unlockable achievements and rewards, including daily log in gifts.     Best game EVER if you love going on real life holidays and love summer then this is the game for you it has that throwback to Family Skiing (an old game made by Bandai Namco) and has 4 fantastic resorts from the city resort to the skiing resort it’s a game that you’ll never regret buying and worth it. You get to ride ATV’s and horses you’ll have a great time playing this game and it’sBest game EVER if you love going on real life holidays and love summer then this is the game for you it has that throwback to Family Skiing (an old game made by Bandai Namco) and has 4 fantastic resorts from the city resort to the skiing resort it’s a game that you’ll never regret buying and worth it.     This game gives me nostalgia. Graphics could have been upgraded a bit, but it's alright. Load screens are a problem. Travelling the island and relaxing while playing some minigames is a great experience anyone can enjoy. Simple controls. It's like an ACTUAL VACATION. Excellent game. Think it deserves a little more credit.

    Really good investment. My kids love this. Whilst not for me personally this is one of the few games on the switch which had them gripped. The mini games are better than most mobile games. It is an open world full of mini games. I really can't see how this got a critic rating in the 60s whilst loads of trash indie games get 80s and 90s.

    I have been playing this game for about 4-5 hours so far and I am enjoying it a lot. Does it have the same charm as Wii Sports Resort? No, but it is good in its own way. There are many many many things to do in this game compared to the 12 activities in Wii Sports Resort. The game is fun and the different activities are fun. Only reason I gave it a 9 is because it still looks like aI have been playing this game for about 4-5 hours so far and I am enjoying it a lot. Does it have the same charm as Wii Sports Resort?     Update: 29 July 2018. My score stays the same, but there is something that I wish could be fixed. The camera is horrible. It is locked behind your avatar so you cannot look around freely. This makes it difficult when trying to find hidden items scattered across each resort. Other than the camera issue, the game is fun and I am having a blast with it!    … Expand

    I'm having the best of times playing this with the family on co-op. Absolutely fabulous game with 4 open world resorts and a huge amount of activities)

    Loved the Wii version and love this one too. The visual improvements are nice and I like what they've done with the challenge system and the animal picture taking. My only gripe and the reason this is 9 stars is because of some of the things they've removed, such as pathfinder and other challenge achievements. Maybe they re-introduce them after a certain point, as I'm still unsure as toLoved the Wii version and love this one too. A good/bad thing about the minigames is that they have changed the controls when you're using the full version, meaning a lot of games you only have to press a few buttons to play, compared to the motion on the Wii, which is still an option, but recommended only when you're playing on the TV.… Expand

    Been playing it for a while. I must say that it is a a very good game and fun to play with friends. I don't know why the score are so low. Switch NEEDS this type of party game

    A bad Wii game of 2011 (2 generations ago) for only 50 euros. Medieval control of a button and move joystick or joycon. It is easy and repetitive.

    (I'm not a 8 year old kid, I'm a core gamer)
    Go Vacation doesn't look too good, but still beautiful. There's an incredible amount of content. For my first 100% playthrough I've needed 100 hours. The 4 open world resorts are feeling big and different and exploring them with the vehicles and searching the treasure chests is fun. The grind mechanic in the city resort    Still my favorite game!

    There's an incredible amount of content. For my first 100% playthrough I've needed 100 hours. The 4 open world resorts are feeling big and different and exploring them with the vehicles and searching the treasure chests is fun. The grind mechanic in the city resort is great! There are lots of things to unlock like clothes and furniture. I love the feature that you can design your own house. Also there are a few side quests. The 50 minigames are mostly great. Unfortunately many of them have to do with the vehicles, but also many of them are iconic. Also there are are a few side mechanics like food stalls. Another main quest is to take a picture of every animal. There are a few easter egg ,,animals'' really hard to shoot.
    Overall it' s a great game. Just buy it!

    Literally the perfect game. It’s such a fun game to play with others and also so much fun to play by yourself and explore the map. The map has so many cool Easter eggs and mysteries and the chests are so much fun to find. The secret areas are god tier and this game is just too good. Hopefully dlc comes out or Go vacation 2

The only bad thing about this game is the beginning, when you have to play these activities in order to unlock the ability to visit your villa since it does not state that you have to unlock it in the first place. Anyway, once that's done, you can do what your heart tells you. You can explore the four resorts, build up to four villas, find hidden caves or paths, play more activities and so much more. It's hard to go into this game and feel bored as it provides a varied amount of stuff to do, and always is satisfactory.… Expand

    My favourite game of all time. If you enjoyed Wii Sports Resort you'll love this game, because they're very similar except this game has the ability to explore the island. To be honest, the majority of the fun comes from exploring the island. 10/10 totally recommend! Please play this game, it's so cute and relaxing!

    Everything about Go Vacation seems like it’s trying to import the hottest gaming trends of 2006 into today. If you still feel nostalgia for that era, then check it out, but if you’d rather that motion controls and the like stayed firmly in the past, then you’ll probably want to steer clear.
