Oct 29, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer puzzle is a great combination of the Friday the 13th franchise and the puzzle game genre. The game has a good premise and entertaining gameplay, which may leave you not wanting to put it down. The variety of weapons and costumes make things more charming, and kept things fresh. The game should take at least a couple hours to beat as well.

Nov 5, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle might have a simple concept and an even simpler look, but it manages to be a bloody (pun intended) good game, with many stages to complete, and with the puzzles getting progressively harder and more complex at the best possible pace. Apart from a very low replay value, fans of the genre are definitely advised to give it a shot.

Oct 31, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is what happens when one of the world's most iconic horror movie series is given a hilarious gaming treatment. A game that's full of comedic moments which will get the players to grow fond of it immediately, this is a surprising work to be found in the Nintendo Switch eShop and which should be quickly claimed by players and fans of the series alike.

Oct 30, 2018Fans of Slayaway Camp will feel right at home with Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle and newcomers are sure to appreciate its clever puzzles and rewarding gameplay. Do as mommy would want you to do and download this crazy puzzler now.

Oct 29, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle could be viewed as a reskin of Slayaway Camp, which would be a problem if Slayaway Camp wasn’t such a great puzzle game, but honestly more of the same is welcome. The all-new puzzles and the path to their solutions are always satisfying to figure out. I’ll admit that the sadism of a few kill-animations is a bit harsh for my personal tastes, but there’s a toggle to drop the rating down to PG-13 I purposefully ignored, so that’s on me.

Oct 25, 2018I enjoyed playing more of the horror movie-tinged puzzles I loved from Slayaway Camp, but Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle wasn’t quite as enjoyable as its predecessor. Maybe it’s because my affection for horror movies is more broad and not specific, but whatever the case, I wish there was more than just Jason present in the sequences and puzzles. That being said, Killer Puzzle has staying power and longevity, mostly thanks to the daily puzzles. I might prefer Slayaway Camp in a direct comparison, but both games are well made and fun.

Oct 25, 2018While Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle doesn’t stray too far from the template of Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut, it does offer some much-needed adjustments to its gory puzzle formula. With 12 chapters to work your way through and 150 different scenes to drench in gore, plenty of costumes to unlock, and all manner of implements to wield (complete with grisly death animations), this cartoonish puzzler offers a fitting way to ring in Halloween on Nintendo Switch.
-
Oct 25, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is built on a good foundation as a simple yet fun and addictive puzzle game. The idea is basic and strong as the fifteen puzzle, but presented with the strange mixture of horror and cutesy.

Oct 25, 2018Fans of puzzle games, Slayaway Camp, and Friday the 13th will find a lot to love about Killer Puzzle. There are so many things to love. Jason’s first outing on Nintendo Switch is an entertaining and challenging time. It displays the iconic killer in a new light, and I think it can introduce the character to a younger crowd thanks to the PG filter. Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is a fun treat for the Halloween season. If you’re looking for puzzles, gore, and cute animation, this is a great game for you.
-
Nov 1, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle might not have the sheen of Slayaway Camp or be an homage to its namesake series like Friday the 13th: The Game, but it’s still a heck of a lot of fun and great value for money when you consider the amount of content that’s available here.

Mar 6, 2019An addicting puzzle with some cute gore elements. But once the game loses its steam, there's not much to come back to.
-
Oct 29, 2018Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle is a curious marriage of gore and puzzles which unfortunately doesn't quite it right. Fans of the franchise will get more enjoyment than others, but it's hard to recommend this puzzler to any but the most die-hard Vorhees fans.

Oct 25, 2018A perfect game to dose in various days that for sure we will end up playing with no limits due to its addictive and simple mechanics.
