This game tells a very simple story and expresses very complex feelings through a beautiful, amazingly creative and simple gameplay. One of my favorite things about this game is the music, the way it sets the tone for every chapter and let's the story flow.

It's something that you would find in a novel or in indie cinema, but in difference to a book or a film, you make the story advance, yo make choices, do daily tasks and through this it makes you sence how the character feels, my favorite example is when Florence is having a conversation and you can feel how she struggles at first but later find her self very comfortable talking to this new person.

It's a very short game that can and should be experienced in one sitting, running in about 40 minutes.

I got the game for 50% off and I definitely feel like, albeit I beat it in 30 minutes, I didn't regret my purchase at all. It definitely isn't for everyone, but I really appreciated the undertones of life in the game design and illustrations (without spoiling anything too much, as a conversation turns sour, rounded edges become more jagged).

The art style is gorgeous, sound track is lovely and the story is quaint & easy to empathise with, both in it's highs and lows. I liked the gameplay mechanics, albeit shallow; it creatively implemented aspects of life in a simple mechanic that works well.

I wouldn't buy it at full price, and it didn't take me log to beat it, but I liked it a lot.

One should consider buying this game on a smart phone as portion of the game is designed for touchscreens and it doesn't cost as much. It took me an hour to complete the game, It is a short game but I thoroughly enjoyed the story line and music.

This game is an interactive graphic novel. Yes it's quite short but twice as long as watching a standard movie. I liked that storytelling with an interesting use of the UI. Definitely worth a try when it's on sale.

It's an evocation of the beauty, sadness and hope that comes from any human connection we make in our lives, whether with art, nature or another person. It's a succinct and incredibly successful exploration of moments you'll recognise from your own life, and the way it mirrors thoughts and feelings through small gameplay mechanics makes it one of the most affecting experiences we've enjoyed on Switch, or any other platform.

What’s really special about Florence, though, is how relatable everything is. No matter what walk of life we come from, there’s something here we’ve all experienced. Be it falling in love, breaking up, being stuck in a boring job – there’s a bit of Florence in all of us.

Through the highs and lows of a newfound love, Florence is a wonderfully told and emotive story that engages you in such simple, but effective ways.
