Mar 28, 2021Powerpoint presentation masquerading as an artsy game. I'm not a fan of visual novel type of games in general, but this one is especially shallow.
-
May 29, 2020Honestly don't know how this game has such a high Metascore. Like it doesn't even feel like i'm playing a game. Its basic, linear and the story really isn't that interesting in my opinion.

Jun 4, 2020The game is so incredibly short. I got it on sale and still think it was so overpriced. I finished it in ~30 minutes. The game is basically a short story. It's not even a game really. It's more a story where you click things sometime. It would be a good short story to read but it's not like some incredibly deep story. I don't know why it has such good ratings from critics.

Feb 21, 2020This product is barely a videogame. Dull mechanics and hipster idea of how make the things happen.
-
May 20, 2020It's not terrible but it's just tedious in terms of gameplay and the "story" isn't half as clever as it thinks it is. I'm a fan of many other non-traditional games but you need a strong plot to pull you along and this is just so lightweight.

Jun 2, 2020Is this some kind of joke? why is this interactive book listed as a video game? And what with all of the people rate this game 9 and above? Isn't gameplay is kind of a big part of a video game? no? I guess I'm too sexist to understand this "masterpiece" then.

Aug 4, 2020absolutely biased reviews, this isnt a game and most ppl are tired of seeing stuff like this on the e-shop.

Jan 6, 2021It's an evocation of the beauty, sadness and hope that comes from any human connection we make in our lives, whether with art, nature or another person. It's a succinct and incredibly successful exploration of moments you'll recognise from your own life, and the way it mirrors thoughts and feelings through small gameplay mechanics makes it one of the most affecting experiences we've enjoyed on Switch, or any other platform.

Feb 18, 2020What’s really special about Florence, though, is how relatable everything is. No matter what walk of life we come from, there’s something here we’ve all experienced. Be it falling in love, breaking up, being stuck in a boring job – there’s a bit of Florence in all of us.

Feb 17, 2020Through the highs and lows of a newfound love, Florence is a wonderfully told and emotive story that engages you in such simple, but effective ways.
