You and your buddy have the keys to their uncle's cabin up in the mountains near the best lake you've ever fished at! The ecology has seemed to change since you've last been there though, and the uncle is no where to be found... but don't let that stop you from reeling in a big one!

Fishing Vacation is an homage to Gameboy games of the past. The game is part fishing adventure, part atmospheric horror with a good dose of humor. Over the span of 3 days you'll dig up your own worms and catch your own dinner as you uncover the mysteries of the vacant cabin and the whereabouts of your friend's uncle and their family.

Fishing Vacation is a fine throwback to the videogame days of old, with a short yet full run time and three endings, you get your money’s worth. Whatsmore, the game is charming, offers a foreboding atmosphere, and has a story that’s sure to keep even the most seasoned horror fans intrigued.

For real, this is an old school Game Boy game, and it is low key intriguing. It has multiple endings and after 1 play through, I gotta play it again. The game grabs you by forcing you to catch certain items in order to reveal certain aspects of the game (I don’t think you can unlock everything in one go through). And if you haven’t got these items by the end of the fishing trip, you’ll leave not knowing what’s behind curtain number 2. (Figuratively speaking of course. There aren’t actually curtains in the game). Expand
