Oct 20, 2017One of the best switch games so far. Plays far smoother than Hyrule Warriors ever did, and obviously looks better too. A must buy for any fan of the series.

Oct 20, 2017Great time killer!!!
This is the first warriors game I have ever played and i really enjoyed it. There is NO great story or superb graphics, It is just super fun to play. -
Oct 20, 2017Having a blast with this game. Stayed up lake to pick it up on the eshop a soon as I could and in the hours I have spent with it I can guarantee it as a must play. Also, the option to choose between quality and performance mode is great, would really like more developers using it from now on for switch games.

Oct 23, 2017I can't stress how good Fire Emblem is and I'm getting the DLCs as well. The game's action is frantic, the graphics are good (you can switch between 1080@30 and 720@60fps) and the cut scenes are really well done. You really feel the non-stop action and destroying the hordes of enemies is a great feeling. The strategic and RPG elements are pretty good too.

Oct 20, 2017in the few hours I've spent playing this game, I can tell you almost all complaints I've heard about the game are either negligible or nonexistent. My only gripe is the lackluster roster; this game is amazing, let no one tell you otherwise.

Oct 31, 2017I love Hack-N-Slash games and Koei Tecmo did an amazing job. They deliver on a simple genre with simple controls. What makes it stand out are the beautiful animations and delightful Fire Emblem characters. The story is very good and expands in an already vast universe. Solid game and a must have for the Switch.

Apr 23, 2020This game is so much fun, the graphics are really good imo. I play in performance mode anyway because 720p doesnt really look bad to me, especially considering it runs silky smooth 60fps!!! Play in hard mode if you want a challenge!

Game World Navigator MagazineMar 2, 2018Turning Fire Emblem series into a Warriors game should’ve been an ordinary task for Omega Force’s – after all, they’ve done it time and again with other franchises, and more often than not it ended up being a fun fan-servicey game. But Fire Emblem Warriors is nothing short of a fiasco. [Issue#226, p.61]

CD-ActionJan 10, 2018An attempt to blend Fire Emblem with Dynasty Warriors might seem an odd idea. Where’s the common ground between a tactical RPG and an over-the-top slasher, right? It actually worked out pretty well, as the game managed to retain Fire Emblem’s atmosphere. If you’re a fan of the series and not allergic to Dynasty Warriors’ formula, give it a try. [13/2017, p.36]

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 2, 2018The standard hack’n’slash will entertain, but you won´t find a deeper sense in it despite a few tactical elements. One level a day will delight you, try more and you get a stereotype. [Issue#280]
