Unfortunately I don't get the appeal of this game.
It is a very simplistic and short puzzle game with bland visuals.
The music is OK but can get repeltitive. There is pretty much no story in the traditional sense but you can get some of the lore if you pay careful attention to the scenery. Gameplay is quite clumsy which was propably on purpose. All in all this is a game that relies

All in all this is a game that relies entirely on its atmosphere to get you hooked into the experience. That never happened for me though. I waited three hours for the game to get good until the credits rolled.
I guess if the trailers look exciting to you then go ahead and grab it but don't expect it to have any more depth than the trailers show.

This game combined both amazing gameplay and world-building, mixed with utterly gorgeous art styles and an outstanding soundtrack. The story slowly unveils itself as the dystopian world mixed in with the rainy atmosphere gives such a powerful sense of loneliness and peace.

This is an special game, it says no word at all and it manages to touch your feelings. It is a bit dark and melancholic. Still an amazing short adventure.

Masterpiece. Flawless design, art, music and length. These kinds of games give gaming a great reputation. A simple, laid back pleasant journey, which you don't have to dedicate your life to finish or resort to online guides. More, please.

This game feels like a long tutorial for a game that doesn't exist.

It's a pretty game, with some background elements that imply a potentially interesting story. However, I can't recommend playing this game, as watching play through on youtube would probably give you the exact same experience as playing it.

I LOVED this game as I was playing it. The world design is amazing and beautiful and the rhythm of keeping your vehicle in motion is very satisfying. I plan on playing this game again just for the experience. Expand

Overall, this is a great game with an interesting playing mechanic that is easy to pick up and master. It's a side-scrolling puzzler that will keep you engaged until the very end. My ranking of 9/10 is for the shortness of the game and that it has almost no re-playability. It is well-suited for the switch and I found it very easy to use with the Pro controller. Beautiful game!!! I would give it 10 if it was much longer. At the end of the game you want more!!! I replayed it 3 times already to satisfy my need of having more of it. of traveling in a post apocalyptic empty world. FAR is one of those tight arthouse gaming experiences that suck you into a small but perfectly crafted world, and then end before you get a chance to slip out of the zone. The basic concept of FAR (driving a large steampunk device across a barren wasteland to an unknown destination) is original and well implemented, and the mechanics are simple but sound. However, the game lives and dies on its art direction. The atmosphere is spot on–perfectly balanced between desperate loneliness and hope. The graphics–well, let's say that this is the first game I played since Gris where each single screenshot could be a perfectly legit desktop screensaver.

FAR isn't going to strain your gaming skill at any point–but as an interactive experience, it's easy to recommend.

The artwork: extraordinary. The music: stellar. The story: riveting. The game play: exciting.

While the game is short, it captivates from the beginning and compels you to the finish. I have played hundreds of games over the years and this one stands out. If you are reading this, you have probably already seen screen shots, maybe video: let me say the game wil not disappoint you. I

This game is a masterpiece, and I do not say that lightly.

I did enjoy the art, music and story, but the gameplay is just too plain and simple. I also don’t like the way they designed to control the ship...they deliberately made it too tedious and easy to hit wrong button

Это шикарное безмолвное "одноразовое" приключение из разряда Limbo и Inside. Игра проходится на одном дыхании. Так что заряжайте свой Switch и в путь, если сильно не тупить заряда как раз хватает на прохождение. Far is a very good game. This surely falls in my top 3 list. It is a highly atmospheric little puzzle game. It is quite short around two hours long, however in those two hours it tells a compelling story with an amazing soundtrack and a very beautiful art style. A definite worth buy.

Epic game with stunning visuals and a weird story and world.

Keeping your vehicle going forward with all the obstacles was intense and fun.

Very short game about 4 hours, so i would recommend to buy this on special only.

    这是一款解谜类游戏。

    优点:
    -小而美的体验
    -独特的黑暗画风,仿佛处于末世之中

    缺点:
    -缺少教程引导,基本需要查攻略通关
    -经常缺少石油
    -流程偏短

This game doesn't need to explain much before you get started on board of a steam powered vehicle.
The goal of it simply is to move on. It's the game of escape in a post-apocalyptic world all presented in an atmospheric art style sometimes dark though.
And for once you don't have to kill anybody, a rarity in the games I usually play and a welcome change. I just suggest to get it when

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. So, FAR: Lone Sails, where to begin, the game is made by Okomotive (who also made FAR: Changing Tides (which I will review sometime later)); is an avant-garde game all about you and your landship, it is a short, simple adventure with great visuals, a vibrant atmosphere, and an imaginative soundtrack that you can beat within 3 to 5 hours and the game itself doesn't have any "real" issues besides a short runtime and being a bit too expensive, but overall I feel satisfied with the game. Inspired by games like Journey or Limbo, Lone Sails draws you in on Switch with charming music and an expressive art design. An emotional trip through an apocalypse void of humans.

Without saying a word, FAR: Lone Sails conveys a poignant tale of hope and perseverance, masterfully balancing style with substance for an experience that feels every bit as sublime as it looks. Sure, you could grumble about the shortness of the experience, the occasionally obtuse puzzles and the very, very minor control issues, but these problems dissolve away once you're invested in the journey. We highly recommend that you give this a spin.
