Espgaluda II is an acquired taste within a genre that was already an acquired taste, to begin with. It doesn’t take long to see why the love for the game is so divided. Its complicated play and scoring systems take some getting used to, but the Switch port is far from ideal despite being feature-packed. This is merely something to hold you over until Live Wire ports DoDonPachi Resurrection.

Oh, I'm saddened that there are games that want to be in the place of the same Resident Evil or such bestsellers as Super Mario Bros and The Legend of Zelda, and to be in their place, the developer must have talent in writing the game, creating it and also in promoting global advertising so that the game is known not only to a narrowly focused audience, but also to the global! Espgaluda probably has the most complicated scoring system if you like to chase high scores, but in some bizarre choice there are no online leaderboards (even though esp ra de si has one). Still, a ton of fun, tons of modes and difficult sliders, even a novice mode for beginners. If you want to know if you like CAVE games, check out ProGear on Capcom Arcade Stadium for $2. The bullets are slow moving and it is a great game to practice weaving in and out of complex patterns.

As with all Cave games, the graphics are superb and it's great fun to play.
