Jul 30, 2018I really wanted to enjoy Dream Alone. Whilst it's clear that certain aspects are inspired by the likes of Super Meat Boy, the platforming elements just don't hold up as well. The unforgiving deaths and inability to see where you're going most of the time makes the whole experience a bit of a disappointment.

Jun 27, 2018Dream Alone makes a valiant effort to live up to its inspirations, Limbo and Inside. However, it falls short of creating an immersive world that would cleverly combine fun platforming and crafty puzzles. What’s left are awkward, frustrating platforming and forced puzzles. Combined with an overly dark display and cheap level design, this is a tough recommendation for even the biggest dreamers.

Sep 10, 2018Dream Alone is an unpleasant experience. It really needed a great amount of polish to even be a recommendable game. I was really disappointment with the enormous headache this game caused me.

Jul 2, 2018Dream Alone tries so hard to capitalise on the inspiration from its formative peers that it forgets to carve out an identity of its own. The poor platforming engine, floaty controls, and frustrating level design leave far too much to be desired for this to be the game of anyone’s dreams.
