    I bought this title as I personally don't like ''complicated'' dungeon crawlers or rogue-like where you spend half of your time checking your stats, switching gears, etc. I like simple, but efficient game which this one is. It gets repetitive after a while and there are 2 controls to work with (jump and swing weapon), but I still enjoyed the experience.     Devious Dungeon is a clear example of how to make a very entertaining game without the necessity to have a great story upon its shoulders. Its graphic style in Pixel Art is simply amusing, though its soundtrack is hardly varied even being pleasant.

    Devious Dungeon features a fairly interesting progression system, along with a healthy variety of enemies for the roguelike game that it is. Alas, it fails to deliver on the rest and the result is a game that is way too simple and unambitious for its own good, without any factors that redeem it from an overall repetitive and uninteresting experience.

    Devious Dungeon is straight to the point. It offers a 2D roguelike RPG experience without any unwanted clutter. If you want a title that will keep you engaged and in the action, then make sure to give this a look.
