May 20, 2024Demon Slayer Sweep the Board is the prime board game iteration of the series for fans. While it won’t be as welcome an experience for newcomers, it is an excellent departure from the core series. The boards are varied in stellar ways, while the minigames have great controls. The non-linear nature of the missions mean it works well no matter how you play. Whether you have a party of friends to play with or just want to compete against the CPU, it all works better than I expected. It’s just a shame the characters lack so much detail visually.

May 15, 2024Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board! has a lot of potential, but it is lacking for online play right now. If you have folks to play with locally and like the IP, this will be a good purchase. The team at CyberConnect2 did a great job translating Demon Slayer to this setting, but I hope there’s more added through the year and the online is improved.

May 8, 2024It reminds us that even well-trodden paths like board games can be reinvented with creative thinking and strong thematic ties. For those who can play it in a local multiplayer setting, the game offers a chance to experience the joys and frustrations of board game dynamics enriched with a touch of anime flair.

May 8, 2024Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep the Board!" is an interesting proposal for manga and anime fans who enjoy party games. The title features boards inspired by important locations from Demon Slayer and the saga's characteristic humor. Sadly, the minigames catalog is poor, and its battles against demons, while intense and enjoyable, cannot save the lack of variety that condemns it to a repetitive experience.

Apr 29, 2024Demon Slayer: Sweep The Board offers a delightful twist on the party game genre by infusing it with the charm and style of the Demon Slayer universe. The game is well-suited for family play, featuring a variety of mini-games that, while sometimes lacking in creativity, provide enough entertainment for casual gameplay sessions. The board game mechanics, including item use and goal achievement, add strategic depth, making each round both fun and unpredictable.

May 10, 2024If you’re a die-hard Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba fan, you and your friends might find enough enjoyment in Demon Slayer – Sweep the Board to get you through a game or two. However, the underwhelming and forgettable minigames, glacial pace of the gameplay, and connection issues that made online play unusable for us greatly overshadowed this party game's positive points.
