Dec 7, 2019If you're interested in a game with great characters and dialogues, dark and interesting story and unique atmosphere, then don't hesitate and go for it. Sure, the gameplay is not great and it has it's fair share of flaws... But look past that and you'll find it is a very unique and memorable experience!! I finished it 2 times already and I would do it again. Can't wait for the sequel too :-)

May 5, 2020FANTASTIC! Amazing. Needs to be experienced. No words can make this game justice. It's a masterpiece in terms of dialouge, story and performances. It's an enjoyable ride through the whole game.

May 18, 2020Love it, is kind of a game not for everyone, the graphics are bad, the sound effects are really bad, but the characters, atmosphere, story are great. Not a 10 but definitively an 8 is well deserved.

Feb 7, 2020a masterpiece that is difficult to explain, better left to be played blind, i would give it a perfect 10 if it wasn't because it STILL has technical issues, is a 10 year port, seriously couldn't fix the framedrops? (not that it ruins the game), it's not difficult but it does not need to be, because the main selling point of the game is its characters and story and embracing the weirdness of it all

May 15, 2021I love this game so much and I played 10 years after launch ! Simply awesome
-
Sep 11, 2019It runs way better than the Director's cut PC/PS3 version and looks better than the original Xbox release. UPDATE: they fixed the audio with a patch.

Sep 14, 2019When I saw the game, I was really happy that this game is finally here. The ideas of the game I find so class. It's kind of real, I think. the game is graphically not good. but playfully it is really a great game. It's really cool to study the little secrets of the inhabitants. I give 10/10 stars for the game. because everyone should play this masterpiece.

Jan 14, 2021Great masterpiece, even with all its flaws, it feels amazing and plays amazing, thankfully to great plot and characters.

Nov 16, 2021So much fun, great plot, some messy frame rate and graphics, the enemies are a little boring. But the music and the characters are great, and all the weird (very weird) stuff this games uses makes it a must-play for any person who likes horror and mystery games, specially if you like complicated and weird plots.

Jan 2, 2022I don't know how to review this game. Its a really bad game but for some reason I kinda love it. Driving is unbelievably tedious though. I guess I'll give it a 6/10 just because I don't know how else to rate it

Jul 24, 2020Every technical issue is worth the hassle, because no other game offers a world as alive or as charming with as much conceptual depth. Deadly Premonition is nothing short of brilliant.

Jan 21, 2020Just like a terrible movie you can’t stop laughing at, Deadly Premonition is entertaining in all the ways it was not intended to be. Most of its elements are poor, but the culmination of all those terrible elements makes for a surprisingly entertaining experience.

Jan 13, 2020The general clunkiness of the controls is honestly kind of disappointing to re-experience so many years later, but just as was the case all those years ago, DPO is still a heck of a fun time that out does itself in as far as the overall experience is better than the sum of the parts. That’s a cliche maybe, but it so fittingly applies here I can’t help but call upon it. Bottomline, if your only console option right now is a Switch, you can’t go wrong with DPO, just as long as you go in expecting a dated, but nonetheless very much worthwhile, experience. Otherwise, I’d highly recommend playing the Director’s Cut release from 2013 on the PS3.
