    So while some improvements definitely need to be made, Cybarian: The Time Traveling Warrior is a neat little game that will present you with a pretty good challenge for just $5.

    Cybarian: The Time Travelling Warrior may be another game that rides the retro revival wave but while there is nothing unusual about this, its premise and plot are full of absurdist and oddball elements. If the audiovisual environments and boss fights are quite enjoyable in Cybarian, there are points which could have benefited from extra work, such as the combo system and the placement of checkpoints throughout the levels.
