Apr 11, 2022A great game, who got a very poor remaster. Such a shame SQEX decided to give this game the FF8 "remaster" treatment. The framerate drops are appalling. Even the PSX version emulated on my PS3 runs smoother. I give it a 5.

Apr 9, 2022It's still an absolute masterpiece of a JRPG, but the performance is just unacceptable. A twenty-two year old game should not have Powerpoint presentation framerates on modern systems. Literally any PSX emulator does a better job than this port job.

Jul 8, 2022Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is a decent way to play an often overlooked PS1 RPG along with its accompanying SNES text adventure, but it doesn’t do a whole lot to justify a purchase if you already own the original. In fact, it actually performs worse in some cases. Still, the new options like fast forward and disabling encounters are convenient, and finally having a way to play Radical Dreamers is awesome.
