    I was fortunate to have a wonderful roommate to play this game with and we loved it. Gameplay was smooth, art was really cute, the story surprised me. Theres upgrades for skills and customizable characters. Theres plenty to explore and there are anime references with funny dialogue.     Fun game - great expansion on cat quest, and the two worlds are a pleasure to explore.

    this game has everything better than the first in nearly every way its my favorite game and I haven't even beaten the first king i've only gotten to the wolflin boss were he goes into three different ones and its my favorite game and so far and it has a good story to im addicted i am always wanting to keep playing in the first game and even more in the second game it also has upgradingthis game has everything better than the first in nearly every way its my favorite game and I haven't even beaten the first king i've only gotten to the wolflin boss were he goes into three different ones and its my favorite game and so far and it has a good story to im addicted i am always wanting to keep playing in the first game and even more in the second game it also has upgrading instead of buying chests which i love both ways but i think i prefer the upgrading one also the fast travel because of the thing i don't remember the name of and its better because of the bigger world and longer story. also this probably isn't that important to many people but i like the 6 save files thing personally since i like doing challenges that the new game + cat do cus it gives you the ability to raise the levels of enemies and you can have 6 saves you could do naked cat from the first game and also mage only or no spells stuff like that i love to do those and also the first game has many extra side quests and caves like that and the second game has the same and more to i also love the caves/dungeons they are so fun to go in also i like how you get armor and xp and gold and also how you find crates which can be found in caves that give a good amount of gold also the armor is good in this game which in the first game the armor wasn't to good while in this game its certainly not as good as levels but with leveling every 10 levels on armor gives you extra stats per level it does gives a high amount amount considering everything also hotto doggo is good i like how he talks about hot dogs sometimes and also the hot dogs which is fun I always like all the jokes they have about cats and dogs the story is good to i'm not sure if i said that but it is i don't feel like reading this whole thing again best game in my opinion also the single player allie isn't that good he barley attacks but you basically have a second life so its nice but you have to revive yourself as the cat/dog and also having a co-op option is good also this game has one BIG flaw the cat and dog don't have a name… Expand

    It’s so fun. I played it with my sis and it’s perfect. It’s so unique and well made for 2 players!

    A big step down from Cat Quest 1.

    The biggest problem is the fact you're forced to play with someone or endure extremely unintelligent AI controlling your second character. If I'm playing this single player, like I did the first game, I want to control ONE character, not switch between two. I feel like I'm being punished for playing solo.     A nice cartoonish action/slasher game with multiplayer focus.

    Good: - it's simple enough to pick up when you want to play with kids or your girlfriend - cats look nice, and there are tons of cat-related jokes and sounds. If you like cats like I do, it's really fun So-so: - progression is somewhat repetitive.     So-so:
    - progression is somewhat repetitive. You need gold to buy upgrades for gear, but there isn't enough of it from the quests for gear to keep up with your level. And when you re-run the same dungeons over and over, there is quite a low amoung of gold looted
    - although the texts are full of cat jokes, the story itself is silly and not worth reading into. It's probably targeting kid dunno...

    Bad:
    - you need 2 controllers to play it multiplayer. Can't play, say, with 1 controller and keyboard. Also, you can't reconfigure controls. I played this with my gf with 2 controllers, and one of the controllers the buttons had completely different functions than on the other one.

    Overall it's a fun (even though forgettable) semi-casual game that great for a few local co-op sessions.    … Expand

    A fantastic little game with the emphasis a little because it was to short. The price of SEK 156 is very good considering how much fun you get for the money. The game crashed a few times but it still does not reduce the score.

    Recommended for RPG-gaming families or friends preferably in co-op. It is great to play alone, but together it really becomes much more fun.

    Really fun, great for kids and just RPG fans in general. It’s challenging enough to be fun but not oppressively so definitely worth the $15

    Excellent jeu a deux joueurs. On s'est bien amusé durant les quelques sessions de jeu. Les défauts du premier ont été corrigés, enfin on peu upgrade le stuff ! Par contre il est court, et XP est vraiment facile.
    En tout cas grace a ce jeu, ma femme débute dans le Hack&Slash et maintenant elle en demande plus ! ( diabloooooo )

    Played with my wife. It's a pretty fun, solid coop game. If you like action RPG, it's a no-brainer.

    Pretty fun and cute game. I would be excited for another one. There's enough magic and different items around that you can customize your play style a bit.

    Both Cat Quest I and Ii are amazing games, the only downside is both are quite short, but worth every penny!!

    While Cat Quest 2 was a cute, quippy game, it lacked substance in terms of narrative. It's a simplistic storyline, and didn't do anything revolutionary in terms of gameplay. If you're looking for a lighter-mindless title that'll make you smirk, feel free to try it.

    Overall I had a decent time with Cat Quest II. It doesn’t have a super deep story or gameplay that pushes the gaming industry forward but I still had a great time playing it cooperatively. It is very evident that Cat Quest II is a game that was created for the young at heart due to its simple gameplay. This can be seen as both a pro and a con.

    The pro is that the game can be picked up    Overall I had a decent time with Cat Quest II. There are a few combat systems a player will need to learn but they’re very easy to follow thanks to the plentiful amount of tutorials the game provides. The con comes from playing this game solo. The gameplay can get very repetitive if you’re playing by yourself as you’ll find yourself doing basically the same task over and over again. The simplicity can be a pro for an inexperienced gamer but if you’re looking for rich systems and deep gameplay I would look elsewhere.

    Cat Quest II is an action RPG filled with fun and well-humoured moments, featuring a colourful world and with a simple combat system and even if some sections can get repetitive and there's not much to do after the main campaign is over, this is an overall relaxing and welcome game that only adds another fun option to the Nintendo Switch catalogue.

    If you are up for some cute, simple and potentially cooperative action RPG experience starring a cat and a dog, well this game will be right up your alley. Not too long or complex, yet truly can satiate your hunger for the cute... And some hunger for the action and RPGs. Give it a try! If nothing, it will make you giggle.

    Cat Quest II does as any good sequel should, expanding upon the core design of its predecessor whilst also improving things in terms of visuals. Whilst the end result is slightly compromised, the attempt is admirable.
