    Bush League Hockey got just about everything right except for the actual Hockey part, which is a shame because this is a charming arcade-style game but it's not something that I can see a lot of people wanting to play over long periods of time.

    The fun and nostalgic creative choices of ’70s ear Bush League Hockey aren’t quite enough to make up for its clunky gameplay and bad AI. Its 4-player local multiplayer may appeal to hard-core hockey fans, but consider it a healthy scratch for everyone else.

    The controls are laggy. The load times are horrendous, sometimes as long as a minute and a half to start a simple exhibition game. It crashes sometimes. The AI for your teammates and goalkeeper is utterly incompetent. The classic controls ape the EA NHL Genesis layout, but map the A/B/C to B/A/X, putting a key action on the most awkward button on the controller. But the real kicker? Even when everything is going right, Bush Hockey League just doesn’t feel good to play. There’s so much obvious love put into this game by a team I am sure is full of big hockey fans, but that doesn’t change the end result.

    Game stinks out loud. So boring and bland and all you have to do is aim your shot to the left or right and it’s an automatic goal. You canGame stinks out loud. You can shoot a weak dump in wrister from the blue line and as long as you have a joystick pointed directly to the left or right it’s an automatic goal. This game should’ve never been released for switch. Don’t even buy it for $0.99 with your Nintendo rewards points, still a waste of currency.… Expand
