Dec 23, 2018While Brawlhalla is fun and different from Smash, I( as someone who has played 30+ hours of Brawlhalla and have gotten to the best level) always find myself wanting to play Smash, There’s not much to say about it, except that it gets repetitive if you don’t know what you’re doing, and when it gets fun competitively, Smash gets more fun.

Feb 3, 2019It is good for a free game and is fun to play if you only have a few minutes. Otherwise it is quite mediocre.

Aug 2, 2019If you don't have Smash Ultimate on your Switch, get Brawlhalla. Anyways, even though the online mode is free, sometimes, it will go toooooo laggy and random explosions and random deaths can appear which sucks.

Nov 10, 2021The game is fun but there's no way I can pull up that combo it's it's too hard like it's really fun I like to watch the characters and crossover characters but it's a little too hard to play

Nov 20, 2022Overall - 6/10
Difficulty - Medium
Platform - Nintendo Switch
Replay Value - 6/10
Gameplay - 6.5/10
Hours Played - 50 hrs
Extra Notes: Pretty good fighting game considering it is free. I had a lot of fun with this game, and its pretty easy to get into as a beginner whilst leaving space to learn the mechanics and get deeper invested in the game

Jun 18, 2019Brawlhalla is a great, free alternative to Super Smash Bros., but just doesn’t have the same spark that makes it stand out beyond that. Still, if you love the grind and want something new to play with your friends without needing an online subscription, this is a good choice.

Nov 22, 2018Though a bit uninspired, Brawlhalla still stands as a solid example of how to do a proper platform fighter, with several game modes, a diverse cast and a beautiful art style making this one easy to recommend. Perhaps best of all, it’s totally free, so you really don’t have anything to lose by giving it a try. At worst, you’ll find a Smash clone that doesn’t have a ton of new ideas; at best, you’ll find a new go-to for when you have a few friends over for a gaming session.
