Unlike the aesthetically-similar Ultra Foodmess, Boomerang Fu offers compelling gameplay that will make you want to return for more.

You can play locally with friends or up to 5 bots and rounds are frantically fun.

More game modes would be welcome but the two that are currently there, Free for all deathmatch and Golden Boomerang, are well executed and it's a very fun package for the price.

Cute, fun, and really accessible party game. I love throwing this one on when my guests aren't very used to playing video games.

The game could definitely improve on the outlining on the characters and maps, I notice people, even those who have played this game a lot with me, falling off of the map constantly due to unclear borders / visuals.

There are also some other issues. Falling off for some reason produces no point loss or point gains for the other player. Meaning if I need to stop someone from getting a point I can just jump off.

I understand that this is a small title, but it'd be very nice to see it expanded upon with more maps, more color pallets on the maps, and more customizability in map selection.

Either way, this game is really fun and great for what it is! Do recommend supporting. The dev is awesome and attentive to the players and fans!

This game is very reminiscent to tower fall.... but with boomerangs and adorable objects. You liked that game you will like this.

Much like Towerfall it's a bummer that there isn't online. What is does have is bots. You can play single player with 5 additional bots. I thoroughly enjoyed this. I wish you could change individual bots difficulty, or more difficulty... I'm better then

Simply fantastic. Boomerang Fu is a game with simple controls, but deep gameplay. Accessible to casual gamers and just as great for a more hardcore audience.

It’s a shame there haven’t been any reviews from critics, because this game could probably use the press. Honestly might be one of my favorite party games.

Amazing if you have other people to play it with.

Only reason I don't give it a 10 is because it doesn't have an online mode. Hopefully the developer can update it later on or release a second game with multiplayer.

I got this game for free on amazon games but love it so much I bought it on the switch so my family and me could play on the tv.

Just a very good game overall. Fun, funny, and actually pretty skill testing, though forgiving enough that everyone can play together to have fun. Probably one of the best competitive Multiplayer games I have played. Reminds me a bit of Powerstone 2, and if that isn't praise, I don't know what is.

My new favorite co-op party game! The boomerang mechanic is really fun and the art and animations are on point, just wish it was 1080p on switch version, as there are some slight rough edges. The power ups are great, teleport and multi boomerang are my favorite though multi is a bit OP. I wish there was online, but you could use Parsec if you have the PC version. A campaign would also be nice to have, but I get that it's focus is co-op. There were a lot of bugs after the Grilling Spree update but they patched them out within a day or two.
Overall it's lot's of fun and I love bringing my switch to play it with friends on the go. I was browsing the eShop's deals and saw it was on sale for $6 and had a demo, got the demo and within an hour I knew I had to get it.

I bought this game for $2 on sale, and I gotta say, it was worth it. I would have payed 5, or maybe even 10 for it. This game would be a much bigger deal if it had online, but in its current state, it's still quite fun. Its fast paced and frantic, and has great visuals. It could use an update or 2 though to improve on some things, and if online ever came to Boomerang Fu, I would be playingI bought this game for $2 on sale, and I gotta say, it was worth it. This will go down, at least in my household, as a local multiplayer titan up there with Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.

My only regret in buying it, is that I’ve unleashed an addiction on my housemates who are constantly asking if we can play on weekends. The mechanics nail that ‘just one more game’ feeling, the characters and design is adorable, getting into games is instant. It’s an

Another great offline multi-player game that is fun for parties and can be played on a single non split TV screen, the Nintendo Switch certainly needs a LOT more of these...well good games anyway as many are rubbish! The game plays fast and smooth and is a pleasure to play. Another recommend purchase from me and well done to the developers.

Single player? You'll probably get bored pretty fast. But for multiplayer? Boomerang Fu is *the* local-only multiplayer party game that's replaced anything else anyone wants to play at my house. Towerfall? Mario Party? Mario Kart? Super Smash Bros? Sweet new VR experience? Nope, everyone just wants to fire up Boomerang Fu and go crazy. Add in a good number of different arenas as well as a solid mix of power-ups and you have a title that’s well worth trying out at your next games night. It’s just a shame there’s no online play.

Boomerang Fu is a simple party game that won't bring much to solo players beyond its simple and intuitive gameplay. Local multiplayer is a completely different matter, though, as its absolutely chaotic sessions add a whole new layer of enjoyment for up to six players, which makes the lack of an online multiplayer component hard to understand. Those who can summon up to five other players and are looking for quick but intense experiences will find something worthy in Boomerang Fu.

I really can’t recommend Boomerang Fu enough. At $14.99, it packs a lot of replay value and is one of the stand-out multiplayer games on the Switch. I’d put it up there with other great indie multiplayer co-op games like the Overcooked series and Moving Out (Check out our Overcooked review). If you’re looking for a great, local multiplayer title to play with some friends/family, definitely check out Boomerang Fu.
