The Atelier Dusk Trilogy DX edition rolls three very solid entries in the long-running franchise into a fantastic pack for fans of the series and for anyone who's interested in jumping into their addictive world of alchemy for the very first time. These DX versions pack a handful of quality of life updates that make blasting through these games a breeze if you're returning to them and just want to skip the narrative in favour of collecting, crafting and battling monsters and all three perform pretty much flawlessly – aside from some occasional stutter in Ayesha – in both docked and handheld modes. If you're a fan of the Atelier series you'll already know whether or not this trilogy release is for you, but, if you're thinking of jumping in for the first time rest assured this as solid a place as any to get acquainted with the Atelier franchise.

The Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is a great package. It’s true that Atelier Ayesha through to Atelier Shallie aren’t exactly the pinnacle of JRPGs, but they’re very solid nonetheless. And here you’re getting them enhanced and with a considerable amount of DLC. The only real downer in the whole affair is Atelier Ayesha‘s performance problems.

No but they have a charm and a warmth about them, that keeps me coming back. Price wise the deluxe pack was a tag pricey but you do get 3 amazing games. The graphics in the games are not particularly great but that doesn't bother me too much as the gameplay makes up for it. Would highly recommend this pack for anyone interest in the atelier series. This is a great game. It has some of the best weapon and item crafting in a JRPG game. The cast of characters are very likable in this game too. Ayesha's battle system is a lot of fun and puts up a decent challenge with a normal/hard difficulty and lots of extremely challenging optional bosses. There's also the soundtrack which is among the very best soundtracks in the Atelier series. In this game they went all out with the soundtrack and there's tons of great battle themes, amazing boss themes and the soundtrack is a strong one where almost every song is memorable. This is a must play game. Some may ask about the time limit. Yes Ayesha has one. However, it is incredibly forgiving and it's almost impossible to fail the time limit in this game. So do not worry if you are a beginner. Ayesha is a excellent game for new Atelier players to start with. Full Review »
