Sep 1, 2023I always wanted to play Animal Crossing and this was my first one. I instantly fell in love with New Horizons with it's wonderfully calming music, satisfying gameplay loop, lovable NPCs and the detailed decorating options you have. Overall, I love this game and would recommend it if you like slow games.

Jul 25, 2023It's a fun game, see the island evolving, chat with characters and etc. The problem is that you have to wait long times to get better in the game, also, you get borred some time, so, don't get ACNH as your 1st game, but if you alredy have a game, buy it if it's ok to you wait 2 days to a in-game thing get done (sometimes) buy it.

Jul 22, 2023the game is awesome, tbh the people who rate it low are trolls or people who don't like the progression system, if you don't like being unable to grind, don't buy a 60$ game where your limited to a few hours a day. This game is very good, and has a peaceful feel that I enjoy, the only flaw is its limits to grinding, but again, if you like grinding, then don't buy it, it ain't for you

Jul 8, 2023Every interaction, every character, every element of this game was thought out and made with the most adorable choice possible. My partner commandeered my island and has more hours in this game than any game I have ever played. Because of that unique experience, it is a top 10-15 game of all time for me.

The worst thing about the game is the online issue, it has loading times and waiting for a game that is not from this century. It should be more worked apart from the fact that it is missing a lot of content and things from previous installments

Mar 16, 2023New Horizons is a beautiful game, and came out at a time where people needed a place to find comfort in. This game is filled to the brim with personality! The gameplay is relaxing and addicting, the characters are fun and goofy, and decorating your house is a lovely way to pass time!

Mar 3, 2023Very fun game to chill on if you can keep up with it. Once you leave it for a long while it can be daunting to tidy everything back up. Getting villagers you want can also be a hassle but the pure customization of your island is phenomenal.

Feb 10, 2023After more than 200 hours I can safely say that New Horizons, my first Animal Crossing game, has made me a fan of the franchise and I couldn’t be happier with how this entry turned out on Switch. Gorgeous visuals, smooth performance and an addicting gameplay loop make this a stellar game and one of the very best Switch titles to date. Highly recommended.

Jun 28, 2022It's frustrating how this is simultaneously the best entry in the series while still lacking a ton of features that made the others so great. I can say I've sunk over 400 hours into New Horizons alone, which is far more than what can be said for any in the series since the original. New Leaf is cool, but can you play it on a TV? Nope.

Brings back the memories of playing on my GameCube, many times blown away how they managed to do something so beautiful but so simple looking. As systems moved on so did the versions of Animal Crossing. This is easily my favourite. You can fish, swim, and customize more than ever before.

Nov 22, 2021Animal Crossing is one of my favourite series from Nintendo. That said, this game is great and came out during the perfect time. I have had great times with this game and it actually helped me reconnect with some old friends. I will admit, the game was a little bare at launch but after the big update, it's my favourite AC game and easily in my top 3 games of all time.

Nov 20, 2021I've put 1000 hours on this game. The update and DLC added a TON of new content. Tis a shame that this got review bombed by people upset that you only get 1 island per console. I kinda like that, as it makes you stick with YOUR island and makes you think more about the design choices you make. This is (I think) the best selling game of the last 5 years for a reason.

New to the series will find themselves playing for hours and Days unless you time travel but i say just play game as intended and you will have a game that will go on for years to come. AVOID Time Travel it will shorten your enjoyment.

Oct 2, 2021Really good game but you do have to put a lot of time in if you want to progress your island as much as possible. If you’re not worried about completely beating the game it is good just to spend 20 minutes or so on it and just walk around your island.

It´s absurd. The game gives you a crazy amount of content and hours of fun. Relax and enjoy it, and remember, it is just a game!
