    A Tale of Synapse is a very special game you must try ! As a 2D platformer and puzzles game the mechanics are very cool to play. Even if you are not Maths addict you will be able to solve puzzles only with your logic !

    The Art Direction is unique and very immersive an the quality/price ratio is very fair. About 21h of gamplay to finish the game :)

    If you like high-quality and very stylistically unusual platformers, then A Tale of Synapse is just for you. An amazing game in which you will find many unique gameplay elements and an exciting story

    A game that makes us love math. And mission accomplished since I felt great satisfaction while playing. There are some English mistakes but they should be corrected by the editors within a few days apparently! A game that players whose love puzzles and original art direction enthusiasts should try.

    This gorgeous game could have been great, but it stumbles on important details. Sometimes graphics make it hard to discern important objects (I advise against playing A Tale of Synapse in handheld mode) and the puzzles are tediously repetitive. Additionally, once in a while double jump happens when you don’t need it, which makes some parts of the game unnecessarily frustrating. [09/2021, p.66]

    Overall, A Tale of Synapse is a mixed bag. While the art is pretty and the logic-based puzzles are generally fun, the experience is mottled by the bad English writing, the too-easy puzzles, and the occasional glitches that require a full shutdown of the game.

    A Tale of Synapse: The Chaos Theories is a mixed bag overall. Visually it's extremely impressive, and when the player is able to focus on the game's puzzles it's an immersive head-scratcher. However, its struggles with platforming and combat, alongside its camera issues, means that the title ends up as a good idea not entirely successful in its implementation.
