Elder Scrolls Online is an MMORPG set in the Elder Scrolls universe about 1,000 years before Skyrim. I’ve seen how fun the social aspect of these kinds of games are for players of other games like World of Warcraft, and I love the universe, so I figured I’d give it a try. Recently, I picked it back up to give it another chance, and I’ve really enjoyed it. The graphics are good, there’s plenty of content available. It’s fun to go through dungeons with others, and whether I’m playing on my own or with others, the level system doesn’t get in the way because the enemies scale to each individual player, so you can play with others of vastly different levels without having the higher-level player carry the team. Overall, ESO is a great game for those looking to get ack into the world of Elder Scrolls in a game with hundreds of hours of content. The greatest negative to myself would be the level of complexity and how long it takes to understand everything that’s going on crafting-wise, but many players will find that all the more intriguing.
