Is it possible for a horror game to be charming? Ok, so it's horror-lite, but it's no less fun. Wonderfully atmospheric with some nice puzzles and good stealth mechanics. I particularly like sneaking up on creeps and jamming them with my flashlight. Actually ive playd yesterday from 18:00 till 00:30 and never got any lag or frame issue.
This game looks and plays gorgeous on stadia.

Don't believe the negative reviews here. This game is great. It runs great and looks amazing. If they're having issues then they must be trying to play on a poor connection or not enough bandwidth.

GYLT is a game with a great atmosphere that really chills you. Sure it is somewhat an action game as it gives you tools for fighting the monsters that stalk you at every turn, but the game does a great job at making you feel helpless nonetheless and for every tool it gives you a new foe to face as well each one creepier than the last. The story speaks to the horrors of bullying and how isolating it feels and uses plenty to look at. It is a game that is off-putting in the right way, something about the theme of bullying and how you have to deal with making it through the story does a great job in making you feel as if something is wrong at every turn. I wholly recommend a playthrough of this game and it is even fun to explore and look for collectables off the beaten path which gifts you with more of the game's true story. The game isn't too difficult, but it does a great job at challenging you nonetheless. Expand

This game reminds me of a mix of Stranger Things, Stephen King, Little Nightmares! Best game. I cannot get enough of this game. Kudos to the creators.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Game!!!!! I love the graphics and the character Sally is like a PIXAR Character. Delicate concept woven into the game and delivered by a gem of a voice.

Don´t judge Gylt by the way Stadia runs! The game is amazing and very atmospheric! Very nice animations and the story is intriguing. Alan Wake meets Silent Hill + Coraline

I actually own a Stadia and actually use it, and I am very confident that the zero-ratings for Gylt you see here are from salty gamerz who don't actually own a Stadia, but love talking utter twaddle.

Gylt looks fantastic and hits the exact right tone of being spooky but not oppressive. The atmospherics are fantastic and I found myself caring about Sally and really getting into solving

Gylt looks fantastic and hits the exact right tone of being spooky but not oppressive. The atmospherics are fantastic and I found myself caring about Sally and really getting into solving puzzles for her. Best of all, it doesn't use cheap jump-scares, which make most horror-based games unplayable for me.

Otherwise, I have been shocked by how dope the Stadia is. I have an Nvidia Shield, and the Stadia blows it out of the water—the controller is sooo much nicer.

Try setting up port-forwarding and prioritization on your router, and you should have no issues with the Stadia, assuming you have a decent network connection.

It is amazing to see the future happen in realtime. Stadia is only going to get better with new releases and software updates. I can't wait to see where it goes!!!

This is a GREAT GAME! As someone who has finished the game I will say. Give the game a thorough try and come to your own conclusion. I really enjoyed everything about the game. From the detailed visuals at 4K, to the atmospere, voive acting, controls and more; Gylt tells a fantastic story that sticks with me today! It was an experience that caught me by surprise.

This game marked my comeback to gaming on a regular basis. The atmosphere is amazing, the story is very good. The stadia version is just perfect. I loved being able to beat 100% on a game after 17 years not gaming.

    I highly recommend this game.

    Enjoy

This is an enjoyable game and worth the price of admission - a must buy if you get a Stadia since it is the only exclusive title on the system. This is a slow burn, creepy game that invites you to spend extra time exploring the back story and avoid conflict if you can. Other reviews have pointed it out - very Stranger Things feel - Little Nightmares as well. Overall well done.

As far as performance on Stadia - I've been playing wirelessly on a 4K TV, and out of 6-7 sessions, only once did it stutter and affect gameplay. That's about par for the course for wireless - I find - and better than what I see for streaming movies on Apple TV from time to time. I think this is what we'll have to live with with any streaming system.

One other thing that is sort of refreshing - the game is so new - with so little players out there - that you won't find a walkthrough of hidden item guide anywhere (at least not yet), so it it old school - you have to figure it all out yourself.

It certainly isn't a flagship title to warrant buying Stadia - but if you are already bought in, give the game a whirl. You'll enjoy it. You can tell the gamemakers spent time crafting the story here for an A+ product.

I'll get my complaints out of the way. My biggest one: It's a Stadia exclusive. Not many people are going to play it and that really sucks because this game is great. The game was a little linear and short but there is an open world after you complete the game. Then you get to explore a bit. The game was also too easy at times and it wasn't all that "scary." The game was a little linear and short but there is an open world after you complete the game. Then you get to explore a bit. The game was also too easy at times and it wasn't all that "scary." It was more disturbing and creepy. 100% completing the game is also ass. It's required though in order to get a secret ending and to uncover the lore of the game. 100% completing the game requires you to find lots of hidden items. Two of the items are found by taking an elevator to a higher floor but running out of the elevator before the doors shut. There will be a secret passageway underneath the elevator. There are no hints to this that I could find. It feels a little cheap. Now, what I liked. The controls were very tight and responsive, regardless of being on a streaming platform. This could vary depending on your internet speed though. I did try to push the controls to their limit. No problems. The stealth mechanics aren't too complicated and I personally feel like that's a trap most stealth games fall into. The game is one of those types of games that has a message behind it. Its a message about not being a bystander to bullying. I really like the way they pulled it off though. I'm going to be getting into a small bit of spoiler territory here so stop reading if you want to go into the game completely blind. It shows what goes through the mind of Emily, a 7-year-old girl who endures brutal torment every day. It also shows how she views the main character, Sally, who never stepped in to stop the bullying. The game has a great narrative and it will probably be a lesson that sticks with me for a while. My final verdict, 8.5/10. I do highly recommend it. If you have good internet, you can play this game for free. Use your Stadia Pro 2 month trial to play this game for free. The trial also comes with 2 months of Destiny 2 if you want to play that. If you like a good story out of a game or are interested in the game even a little bit, play it. You've got nothing to lose. Expand

It's fun and it's horror. That's all you need to know - oh, and it look fantastic and the art style is very nice. The Story is good and exciting and the puzzles are (at least for me) hard enough to be not frustrating. I love to come back to Gylt whenever I'm the this mood of hiding from ... you know what I mean... ;)
