GYLT mixes exploration, puzzles and stealth in an atmosphere of soft terror to address the complex issue of bullying.

Gylt is an accessible mix of stealth and puzzles in an interesting storytelling environment. Unfortunately Tequila Works runs out of ideas too fast, though.

Gylt presents some bright ideas in its dark world even as its gameplay mechanics are often much too familiar.

The mix of action adventure with stealth gameplay elements creates a gaming experience that doesn’t get boring and the overall atmosphere has a bit of a Silent Hill vibe. The unclear circumstances that lead to the current state of Sally’s town help build intrigue as pieces of that world’s history gradually are revealed throughout the game. GYLT may not be the killer app to necessitate acquiring a Stadia, but it is an enjoyable game and a few more exclusive titles of this caliber could help make Stadia a viable contender in the video game market.

Gylt is very much in the same spirit as Concrete Genie in that it's a short but mostly engaging romp that's best enjoyed by the right kind of audience.

Gylt is a game that isn't too good or too bad to be memorable, both in terms of gameplay and narrative. A simple and easy adventure that can entertain anyone for some hours but that doesn't do anything relevant.

The first exclusive game for Stadia is not the one you always dreamed of seeing in the launch line-up for a new platform. Even if it's not that bad, is nothing to be excited about either.

Gylt offers a simple mix of stealth, exploration and puzzles. Despite the atmosfere has a bit of a Silent Hill vibe, it fails to do anything relevant to be memorable.

Gylt deals with delicate and interesting topics but fails to offer a concrete and exciting experience. Stadia will need exclusives of much more weight to win gamers' heart.

Gylt is a great gateway game for new players to experience the stealth, horror, and puzzle genres. Otherwise, it doesn’t really add much for veteran players to experience. It certainly doesn’t add anything special to the Stadia’s launch titles, especially since the game is probably coming to other platforms at some point. Gylt may not be a go-to title or a must-buy for Stadia players, but it’s good enough if you have five to six hours to kill.

Despite its short length and occasional technical hiccups, Gylt is an OK stealth-horror game with knockout visuals and great audio design. It's not nearly compelling enough to sell someone on the Stadia service, but those with the platform wanting to check out something original will likely have a good time with it as long as they don't go in expecting the game to be Stadia's killer app or anything like that.

The title could have done better if they had bet more convincingly on stealth, which instead is put aside after the first hour of play. The result is an always regular experience, if not for some well-conceived enigma and a good number of secrets to be discovered. Gylt is not a product to be completely cast aside, but in order to give character to its platform, Stadia needs other exclusive items.
