    This game was nothing like the movie, the movie owned. but starscream was fun to play as. And the game did not follow the story.

    This game sucked. I was so excited to play it after watching the movie. BUT it sucked!!! i was so dissappointed...blackout a.k.a my fav robot wasn't that fun to play as, and he only had ONE MISSION!!!! omg man. but playing as starscream was fun. SO unless your wearing an optimus prime helmet right now i recomend getting another game.

    I wanted to love this game, but it just isn't a great game. It's not horrible to the point where you see no reason at all to play it IF your a fan of the cartoons or movie, but most others will lose interest very quickly. The graphics are blah (and I'm a PsP lover not hater) but even by handheld standards its pretty bad. The transformations are poor, and game play so-so at I wanted to love this game, but it just isn't a great game. It's not horrible to the point where you see no reason at all to play it IF your a fan of the cartoons or movie, but most others will lose interest very quickly. The graphics are blah (and I'm a PsP lover not hater) but even by handheld standards its pretty bad. The transformations are poor, and game play so-so at best. A pick up for only die hards like myself, but I would suggest the 360 console version if avaialable to you instead.… Expand

    I was looking for The Simpsons Game except it was sold out everywhere so I saw Transformers and just bought it and in the first 10 minutes, I thought it was the worst game ever. It was so boring. All you did was walk aroung and throw vechiles and stuff and shoot lasers!! even Loco Roco is better.

    This game is extremely awful. Slow gameplay, terrible controls, boring combat, mediocre story. This game legitimately has the worst controls I have ever played in a video game. You move super slow. You’re just jogging everywhere for how slow you move. For whatever reason, the final 2 boss fights against Megatron and Shockwave have an insane difficulty spike.     Only fans of the license should buy this game. It’s got almost everything you’d expect from a Transformers: The Movie game. It’s got robots, it’s got explosions, it’s got Peter Cullen. What it doesn’t have, unfortunately, is fun gameplay.

    Obviously, this is a game targeted to a specific audience, and while non-Transformers fans will find a few moments of fun, I can really only recommend this game to diehard fans or perhaps new converts after this summer’s movie. With some serious control issues, casual gamers may lose their momentum before the story and gameplay can capture their interest.

    There are no broken levels or glitchy gameplay, but there isn't any fun either. I never felt like I was this huge Transformer; I felt like a heavy robot kicking things to death.
