The first The Eye of Judgment was a unique game. The PlayStation Portable version is the one without a camera but with the same elements. The unique aspect is lost, but the strategy gameplay is still very good. Only the story in this game is a bit boring and the gameplay isn’t for anyone.
-
The good things are: Booster packs won‘t cost you money like it was usual when playing the PS3 version as well as testing your tactical wits against computer and friends was never so much fun. But if you‘re not too much interested in fine-tuning your personal deck, you‘ll find yourself swearing when battling against an opponent that has a deck of this kind. Damn Ouroboros.

The Eye of Judgment: Legends solves all the errors of the first game, appeared in PS3 three years back. This game offers a good supply in modes for one player, maintaining the online supply of the original EoJ. Unfortunately, EoJ Legends isn't compatible with the PS Eye camera.
-
The Eye of Judgment is a niche game which will appeal only fans of the genre. As such, this porting is obviously a quite complete production which is based on the very same solid and deep rules of the original game, allowing a deep customization.
