    This game is dreadful! Please save yourselves from this 'on rails' driving nightmare. I spent a week repeating long levels, chasing cars which I could see clearly and having the screen saying 'you're losing them' and worst of all jumping between cars and bikes shooting people though windscreens only to find that because I had already been shooting at the car it This game is dreadful!     Not a game for me at all. I really liked the initial idea and the over-the-top approach, but the game itself is very old fashioned, like it came straight from early 90s arcade - tough, unforgiving, simplistic. The graphics are nice, but can become choppy if too much happens on screen. Sounds are forgettable (apart from the police boss - nice voice acting there), missions are very similarNot a game for me at all.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Maybe, being this game one from my childhood, I might have a skewed memory of it. I recently bought it and oh boy this game is dreadful. The game is ambituous, maybe too much for the hardware it's running on: the framerate is highly inconsistent to the point it seems to play in slowmotion at times. The controls are cheesy, the game demands you to continuously avoid obstacles but sometimes is imposibble due to having to steer a bouder and framerate issues. The game is needlessly hard also, some missions are ridiculously long and if you fail you must replay the whole mission from the start: the Deadeye section is the one that made me abandon this game.

    A sniper on a boat that can three-shot you dead, where as you can empty a magazine without scratcing him. You have a little timer before he can actually shoot you and the only way to stop this is by moving out of his sight. He's completely locked onto you (on a boat, while roaming through canals) and the only way is to completely steer away into the walls, losing him in the chase. Ridiculous.    … Expand

    Está porqueria es sin duda alguna una de las mayores mierdas q juge en mi vida como me arde la sangre q la gente comenté bien de esta porqueria y no hablen del segundo juego, mi queja es q no es difícil es injusto y cuando lo juegas es puro extres se su pone q los juegos es para pasar el rato no para sufrir,es como q los desarrolladores no fueron a las escuela para calcular los tiempos deEstá porqueria es sin duda alguna una de las mayores mierdas q juge en mi vida como me arde la sangre q la gente comenté bien de esta porqueria y no hablen del segundo juego, mi queja es q no es difícil es injusto y cuando lo juegas es puro extres se su pone q los juegos es para pasar el rato no para sufrir,es como q los desarrolladores no fueron a las escuela para calcular los tiempos de las misiones el daño q te hace y la conducción estilo tanque es terrible simplemente terrible como por ejemplo habrá una ocasión donde hay q esquivar explosivo de un barco y lo lógico es esquivarlo si eso fuera tan fácil como ya dije la conducción es de la mierda y te la pasarás chocando cómo el 100… Expand

    Some of the features, like jumping from a car to defeat an enemy, swapping cars mid race and combining a variety of vehicles into one game are really good ideas, but the slowdown, poor handling of some cars and repetitive banter really frustrate.

    It's hard not to like Pursuit Force. Even when you've started the Don the Run mission for the twentieth time you'll still be enjoying it. We fully expect an even better sequel next year. [PSM2]
