  1. NBA Live 07 is yet another case of a developer trying to shoehorn a console game onto a handheld with mixed results.
  2. Unfortunately, NBA Live 07 doesn’t play like a pro on the PSP and much of it has to do with the misuse of the Superstar abilities and the slow-as-molasses framerate.

While the PSP version of NBA Live 07 is much better than that of the PS2 and Xbox, it's not better by too much. The game still has a lot of A.I. and gameplay flaws, and the domineering power of the Superstar control from last year really exerts its influence in this year's game.

The game has positives, they're just away from the 5-on-5 parquet.
  5. 55
Aside from game play modes there are barely any enhancements to the game at all, which is seriously disappointing.

It's like a PS2 port and reminds me of NBA Live 2005. It has franchise mode and it's pretty good. It also has the slam dunk contest. It's pretty much the same as it was in NBA Live 2005. Also it has some good songs on its soundtrack. And any songs you have on your PSP will also play in game so that's a great feature. You just have to make sure you name the folder music. If your songs don't show up then you didn't do it right. It took me a bit to figure it out. My PSP would rename the folder unknown and it wouldn't work. So I connected my PSP to my phone and renamed the folder music. Make sure you just have one folder called music and put all your songs in it. It will try to create multiple folders. Full Review »
