    Controls.. only thing that the game fails with is the controls. PSP analog stick is worthless in this game and with D-pad there's no way you can control the car accurately. Not even the steering assist work properly. Other than that, there's nothing wrong. But lack of decent controls makes the game almost unplayable.

    Now this is a game that nostalgia doesn´t affect the rating. I didn´t like even as a kid.

    F1 2009 reaches the finish, but it's still very far from being a winner. Not a simulator, not an arcade, but yes a reasonable option for gamers looking for F1's speed.

    The core mechanics are solid, but the challenges of putting out a licensed product - and starting with a company as fussy as the FIA probably wasn't a good idea - have clearly got the better of them. Though I imagine if you're a devout F1 nut you can add 10% to the score.
