It's fun to pick up and play whenever you have a moment, but with the lowered production values you might have just as much fun with a mobile trivia game.
-
Playstation: The Official Magazine (US)Buzz! Master Quiz is a title that anyone interested in portable party games should consider, whether you're a parent needing a diversion for the kids in the car or a PSP owner looking to flex your trivia muscles. [Dec 2008, p.88]
-
Still, Buzz! Master Quiz is the perfect title for a quick subway ride, or if you're the type of person who likes to play a video game for a few minutes before falling asleep.
-
While far from the best entry in the Buzz series, Master Quiz is an easy game to recommend. It’s fast, fun, full of excellent questions (and lots of ’em) and has a great all around feel. Lots of game modes keep the basic "answer a question for points" formula fresh throughout, and with medals, trophies and actual progression it actually feels like more than a shallow game show.
-
Trivia fans who find themselves constantly on the go or at least ready for some portable action every now and again should pick this one up.
-
Buzz! Master Quiz is a pretty good trivia game that somehow feels right at home on the PSP.
-
If you are a big trivial game guru then Buzz! Master Quiz is a must have for you to play anytime or anywhere. Just don't expect an abundance of online competition.
-
The developers at Relentless Software have put a huge effort into ensuring the franchise gets a worthy portable version. It isn't going to set the world on fire, but as far as hand-held quiz shows go, this has to be at the top of the list.
-
The solo mode mechanics are more fun than the remainder, but it's still entertaining with friends.
-
As a single-player game, Master Quiz just doesn’t cut it but there’s multiplayer fun to be had for those who enjoy a fun game show title fit for the PSP.
-
So while Buzz! Master Quiz isn't quite my preferred version of the series; it's still a really decent outing, and first attempt, on the PSP. There are a decent variety of quiz types available, along with a great selection of actual questions, and a solid amount of content to keep a player busy for a while.

MihaiR.Nov 5, 2008It is fun to play in the beginning but after a while you get tired of it. Though it kept me a few good hours hooked.
