    This is a fantastic game, the story is entertaining, the combat is addictive and the characters are really fleshed out. Best game on the ps1 and best final fantasy without a doubt

    Its easily one of the 5 top games in history of gaming.
    Its the best game on PS1 and that console has insanely many good games but VII tops the lot.
    Was a huge reason why PS1 was successful and why Squeenix is the megacorp it is today but on to the game itself it has incredible storyline, characters, music composer and depth to it that can only be compared to the other FF's on the    Its easily one of the 5 top games in history of gaming.
    Its the best game on PS1 and that console has insanely many good games but VII tops the lot.

    Final Fantasy VII is my favourite game of all time. I love the characters, the story, the combat and basically everything in it. Still in 2020 it is definitely a worth-play.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I love this game so much ! But I am sad about Aerith's death... It makes me cry :(
    Zack's death makes me cry too :( :( The story is amazing. Cloud missed his life, he wanted to be first class soldier but failed. It makes him endearing. His memories are false, Cloud was third class soldier, it is Zack memories. They got merged together.

    This game has so many memories for me, and it is truly a final fantasy game that stands the test of time. It is a moment in history many of us fans of final fantasy will never forget.

    Has a perfect turn-based, yet real time combat system. Characters are well developed with distinct and creative personalities and back stories. They all have their own motivations. Music is phenomenal. The story is by far one of the best in history. It seems like the perfect length to have a well-developed story and still not feel over saturated.     My second favorite FF, Cloud is most likely the most iconic FF character to ever be created, with tons of spin off games, and characters used in multiple games from different eras, and franchises, that should tell you something, this game is as FF as you can get, an almost perfect game, with almost no negatives that come to mind, an easy in my opinion 10/10.

    (no spoilers) I can't recommend this game enough. To be expected the graphics are dated and so are the animations. But this game has a lot to offer. I mean this with the world that Square has created, the characters and themes/issues.

    The best JRPG of all time next to Chrono Trigger. Amazing story, charming stylized graphics, clevel use of FMV, unreal soundtrack. Fantastic rollercoaster of a game.

    I played this game in my teenage years, it's a masterpiece.
    Story and characters are excellent 10/10
    Graphics are so bad that they become funny and charming, you get used to them rather quickly 10/10
    Music is legendary 10/10
    Game play is a classic 10/10

    Okay, I have to admit it, I'm slightly biased, but it is an excellent game, if you haven't played it yet, get your PS1 out!

    The story is deep. Following Cloud along his adventures with Avalanche. Then the story takes a twist, getting deeper, and putting you on an even bigger journey. And when you begin to figure Cloud out, they throw in a large twist. Making nothing seem the way it appeared to be.     The story is deep. Following Cloud along his adventures with Avalanche. Then the story takes a twist, getting deeper, and putting you on an even bigger journey. And when you begin to figure Cloud out, they throw in a large twist. Making nothing seem the way it appeared to be. I loved the twist of this game. And like most of the Final Fantasy games, the ending is always incredibly emotional and touching.  

    Sound Track: I love the sound track from every final fantasy game. In fact, I even go to sleep to it playing at night. The hardest part, is hearing the song and fighting the urge to play the game again. The soundtrack is flawless. 

    Gameplay: I loved the combat system. The use of Materia. The fact that you can switch your game play by switching, and linking new materia. This was a brilliant idea. If you wanted a magic user, give them magic based materia. Needed a fighter? Fighting materia to increase your strength. Then, get the weapons with linkings, to combined two materia, to make a deadly combo attack. There was so much greatness to this system. The mini games were also awesome. I loved the first mini game, defending the town by buying soldiers to walk down a pathway fighting. This was such a fun little mini game. And then coming to the arcade, allowing you to take a break from all the fighting, to just play through fun games, and get rewarded for it.     … Expand

    One of the best RPGs ever made. The world is vast and open, the towns rich and lively, the characters memorable and likeable, the story epic, the music iconic, the emotions are all there and it all works wonderfully.

    Honestly one of my favorite games of all time. I was a bit late to the party with this game so I can't say I'm an OG fan but I think that helps indicate how timeless it really is if I can pick it up many years later and still love it.

    uno de esos juegos que debes jugar si te gustan los rpg por turnos, y mas si te gustan los clásicos de este genero.
    buena música, historia interesante y un sistema combate bueno pero que deja la sensación que el final fantasy 6 lo hizo mejor en este apartado, las materias y su uso puede ser algo innovador (en su época) pero molesto si no te gusta configurar a cada rato a tus personajes.    uno de esos juegos que debes jugar si te gustan los rpg por turnos, y mas si te gustan los clásicos de este genero.

    en cuanto a los personajes, cloud, tifa, barret y aeris se llevan demasiado protagonismo en la historia, el resto del grupo tienen su importancia pero se nota que son mas secundarios que protagonistas, en caso de yuffie y vincent solo en ciertos momentos brillan pero en general son muy olvidados, y lastima porque vincent es un personaje que me dejo la sensación que pudo ser mas importante y hasta incluso pudo haber obtenido protagonismo al ser tan impotante en el pasado de la historia del juego.
    criticar los gráficos es poco relevante ya que este juego tiene tanto que ofrecer que obviamente el defecto grafico queda casi olvidado, en mi opinión los gráficos no importan tanto y menos en este tipo de juego, y bueno si te importan mucho los gráficos tal vez este juego no es para ti.
    mi única queja seria el final que te deja en blanco, no daré detalles pero te hace sentir extrañado por lo rápido e intrascendente que es. lastima porque uno esperaba mas.
    en conclusión es un gran juego que si bien tiene defectos, son todos perdonables en comparación con las cosas que hace bien, tal vez no es perfecto pero para los que lo jugamos en ese entonces (1997) lo recordamos con una sonrisa y hasta con añoranza porque ya no hay juegos así por parte de la empresa actual square enix, triste cuanto menos porque juegos que tuvieron este espíritu son lo que hicieron grande a los videojuegos.    … Expand

    A beautiful work of art, memorable characters, Iconic music, it still hasn't aged to this day. Do yourself a favor and just play it and enjoy this masterpiece.

    Melhor jogo de minha infância... Ótimo enredo.. jogabilidade... personagens carismáticos... Não consigo dar nota melhor que o máximo pra FFVII

    Final Fantasy 7 es una joya atemporal que siempre estará presente en la historia de los videojuegos como de los mejores. Para su tiempo fue un juego revolucionario que permitió el acercamiento de los Juegos de Rol japoneses al terreno occidental. Sin duda lo que más marco fué su historia, adulta, con personages muy interesentes y con escenas nunca antes vistas en videojuegos. La BandaFinal Fantasy 7 es una joya atemporal que siempre estará presente en la historia de los videojuegos como de los mejores. Para su tiempo fue un juego revolucionario que permitió el acercamiento de los Juegos de Rol japoneses al terreno occidental. Sin duda lo que más marco fué su historia, adulta, con personages muy interesentes y con escenas nunca antes vistas en videojuegos. La Banda Sonora es uno de los mejores trabajos de Uematsu (que es mucho decir) y la jugabilidad es perfecta para su tiempo. Este es un juego que no necesita presentación, que casi todo el mundo conoce, aún así, he querido hacer mi aporte recomendándolo para las nuevas generaciones.… Expand

    Uno de los mejores RPG de la historia, para mí el mejor de los que jugado. Gran argumento, personajes carismáticos, batallas por turnos apasionantes y un mundo lleno de secretos y minijuegos. Obra maestra.
