It's one of those games that just makes sense on a handheld, and it's a must-have for any Vita owners, whether they're tactical RPG buffs or not.

One of the best strategy games of all-time is now one of the best bargains on the PS Vita, with this mostly excellent, and extremely unexpected, port.

The technical flaws definitely impact the flow. But even with this in mind XCOM on Vita still is a gripping strategy experience.

An admirable, if problematic, port of a fine strategy game, XCOM Enemy Unknown Plus gives the PS Vita a welcome, posthumous, shot in the arm.

XCOM Enemy Unknown Plus is a perfect game hidden behind a poorly executed port. For some these technical issues may be enough to warrant not giving it a shot but you would be robbing yourself of experiencing one of the hardest and most rewarding tactical games released in years.

XCOM Enemy Unknown Plus is rife with little problems that come as a result of porting such a large and CPU-heavy PC game to a pocket system like the Vita, but even in the same breath as acknowledging that it's hard to say that if you've no other way to play XCOM it isn't worth it: the game is that good. This definitely comes recommended behind the PC and console versions of this classic game and has a lower score as a result, but if the Vita is your main or preferred way of experiencing games, this port is still easy to recommend.

Enemy Unknown Plus feels like a game behind schedule, rushed to the finish line after the success of the sequel to take and garner the positivity coming from it. It is a poor excuse for an XCOM game, pulling down the pedigree while hiding its best features.

This is my first time playing xcom, i slept on this game for a long time, but better late than never. Its definitely worth the $20 bucks, after playing this i would pay $40 for this game its that good. Its a little laggy and buggy here and there but doesn't spoil the game play. The cut scenes look really good, and im not to far in the game but its challenging so far. The graphics don't look bad at all, not ps3 looking but still look good to me. I've never been a graphics guy anyway. But if you're a xcom fan don't hesitate to buy this one. Full Review »

I never tried Enemy Within so I was pretty excited when I heard it might come to the vita. So as soon as it got out, I bought it and it is not disappointing. I am addicted to that game and I try to play as soon as I have a bit of free time.
    Pros:
    - Enemy Unknown and Enemy within for one price and on the go
    - depth of the gameplay
    - One of the best tactical game of all time
    - Excellent replay value
    - great soundtrack
    Cons:
    - the graphics have been downgraded, but that was to be expected
    - the sound is struggling to keep up with the game
    - long loading time
