    The good:
    - Xcom on PS Vita, nice to have it portable. And I loved Xcom: Enemy Unknown on PS3

    - Some (new) gameplay bugs, which is troublesome as the game encourages you to play on Ironman (so with one save (and for me it's also the best way to enjoy the game) and punishes you for your mistakes. So when one of my units is behind cover and tosses a grenade, it shouldn't step out of cover for the rest of the turn as is the case with the Vita version...

Hands down the best game i own on PS Vita. I bought the game for ~$10 on sale on a friends recommendation digitally. I have the first edition PS Vita.

Keeping In Mind: -Ported from a console release. -Few years old at this point. -Turn based strategy is not for everyone. The BAD: -It's a port. This game isn't optimized for PS Vita. If it was, I think there would be a lot more
Hands down the best game i own on PS Vita. I bought the game for ~$10 on sale on a friends recommendation digitally. I have the first edition PS Vita.

    Keeping In Mind:
    -Ported from a console release.

-Few years old at this point.

-Turn based strategy is not for everyone.

    The BAD:
-It's a port. This game isn't optimized for PS Vita. If it was, I think there would be a lot more touch input or some integration of the camera or microphone and that would have made it a little more interesting for newcomers to the series like myself.

-In the same breadth of the point above, input can be a little tedious at times due to the fact that the game is older than most Vita titles. You may find yourself scrolling to an option in the middle of combat where you might instinctively try to touch the screen and it can hinder the momentum of the game.

-A healthy dose of glitches. The few glitches I've encountered are not game breaking but can be super inconvenient. On occasion, the movement area highlights may disappear but the cursor continues to be labeled when your character is "Dashing" so minor visual issue there. Rarely, your grappling hook might not take you to where you pointed. Lastly, if you use the suspend game feature frequently, it may freeze your game (usually during a loading screen). All of these have easy fixes or don't pose a true issue.

    The GOOD:
-Excellent sound design. Everything from switching weapons to the voice acting is top notch here. Sound is usually an area where mobile gaming tends to "trim some fat" and that isn't present here. This could be looked at as a good point to porting?

-Deep resource, item and staff management system. There's a lot of systems to sink your teeth into here and it makes you feel like your decisions have an important impact in the game world you're trying to save. The management aspect of this game is what keeps you coming back. The progression in relation to how you manage your time and resources feels rewarding and definitely makes combat more fun.

-Spending the time required managing people has you growing emotional ties...to fictional characters that are procedurally generated...yes, it's a little weird but it speaks to how much this game can immerse you despite the fact its a Vita title.

-Console-Quality gameplay. Because it's a port, the core gameplay you expect from a PS3, or even PS4 title, remains completely intact albeit with some visual downgrades.

-Control over the game. The game offers different ways to switch it up as you see fit. For instance, in the menu, you can change it so if you re-attempt a mission the randomly generated map also changes. No two missions will be the same, No two playthroughs will be the same, Hell your friend's game may be vastly different than your game just based on the options you've changed cementing this as a game you won't delete from your Vita's overpriced memory card ever.

TL;DR: You come for the turn-based combat against aliens but you stay for the resource management and progression.

Xcom has been my favorite game on Vita so far. The style of gameplay is perfect for jumping in and out. I would be rating this game a 9 if it were not for technical issues and loading times. Outside of the few technical issues this is a brutal strategy game that rewards you for playing your cards right and thinking through your turns. I loved putting thought into my pre-mission/between mission team build up. There is plenty of squad customization that allows you to build your group to your play style preferences. I look forward to playing Xcom 2 and hope they continue with this franchise. Expand

I give this game a 9 off of fun factor alone. This is my first time playing xcom, i slept on this game for a long time, but better late than never. Its definitely worth the $20 bucks, after playing this i would pay $40 for this game its that good. Its a little laggy and buggy here and there but doesn't spoil the game play. I've never been a graphics guy anyway. But if you're a xcom fan don't hesitate to buy this one. Expand

I played XCOM Enemy Unknown when it first came out on PS3 a few years ago and I loved that game. I never tried Enemy Within so I was pretty excited when I heard it might come to the vita. So as soon as it got out, I bought it and it is not disappointing. I am addicted to that game and I try to play as soon as I have a bit of free time.
    Pros:
    - Enemy Unknown and Enemy within for one price

    - depth of the gameplay
    - One of the best tactical game of all time

    Cons:
    - the graphics have been downgraded, but that was to be expected
    - the sound is struggling to keep up with the game
    - long loading time

a brutal conversion. the vita struggles, but manages to give you the full packages. cut-scenes, voice acting..really nice. the textures had to be converted, look blurry. loading screens are a bit too long. BUT: the soundtrack is great and the vibe of this brilliant game is still intact. Buy it, it´s one of vita´s last big games! both thumbs up (8/10 because ps tv is not supported)

Let me save you some trouble: do you enjoy brutally difficult balancing of a game? is being tentacle-gripped through a wall by an alien your idea of fun? Are missing 91% shots, sometimes in a row, your ticket for amusement? Then by all means, purchase this game.

I'm at the end of the game and i'm not able to do more than 1-2 missions on one go without the game crashing. It crashes often in mission loading screen which can take already up to 1 minutes. There's also a few glitches like missing health bar on ennemy, missing "walk path" indicator or soldier getting stuck in their cover after throwing a grenade.

The game is however enjoyable. It's probably one of the worse way to experience that game but it stills playable.

Graficamente não é muito bom, tem alguns bugs visuais mas vem com todas as dlc do jogo original de PC e funciona muito bem na jogabilidade e é divertido tanto quanto ao original.

    PROS:
+ Excellent execution in every aspect of the game.
    + Great visuals.
    + Great soundtracks.
+ Detailed customizations --- Besides armor/weaponry/equipment, you can actually rename your squad members and change their races & looks.

    CONS:
    - It could have used more of ps vita’s cabilities (fortunately, it can be a nice upgrade for a sequel for PS Vita).
    - Missing Flags --- Not having your homies among the soldiers in your squad feels like your country didn’t do sh*t when the humanity and the whole planet is in a vast crysis or, what’s much worse is that we seize to exist already... :(
    - It should have more language selections so that everyone can enjoy it like I do.

I first played XCOM Enemy unknown as a game at a friends house it was really good and I really like the game. My friends really disliked the game but i played it all night with them bugging me and trying to make me fail but i accomplished the game in 5 hours because of them bugging me. The game is laggy at times also I'd like more of a range of weapons but otherwise its a really good game.

It's one of those games that just makes sense on a handheld, and it's a must-have for any Vita owners, whether they're tactical RPG buffs or not.

XCOM Enemy Unknown Plus is a perfect game hidden behind a poorly executed port. For some these technical issues may be enough to warrant not giving it a shot but you would be robbing yourself of experiencing one of the hardest and most rewarding tactical games released in years.

Enemy Unknown Plus feels like a game behind schedule, rushed to the finish line after the success of the sequel to take and garner the positivity coming from it. It is a poor excuse for an XCOM game, pulling down the pedigree while hiding its best features.
